Dutch is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and learning to get along with other dogs. (He was not socialized with other dogs before coming here.) Dutch knows some commands and needs more work on a leash. He is a nice boy who craves attention and LOVES to play fetch with a football!

Fannie is a 5 year old spayed blue female. She is a big girl, but very sweet and well behaved. She knows some commands and is not too bad on a leash. Fannie is good with other dogs. She had her first heartworm treament and will have her second in a few weeks.

Liza is a 2 yer old female. She had puppies a few weeks ago and will be spayed before she is adopted. She should be ready in mid December. Liza is a very nice girl and wants to be with her people. She knows some commands, but needs some leash work. She is a very sweet girl and is pretty well behaved.

Weimador puppies are 3 weeks old. They will be ready in mid December and will be adopted on a spay/neuter contract with an additional deposit. There are 3 chocolates and 5 blackish/dark grays. 4 boys and 4 girls. They will have tails.

Kelly is a 2 year old spayed female. She was very shy, but is coming out of her shell and has discovered toys! So now all the toys are hers! She is crate and house trained and not too bad on a leash. Kelly knows some commands and is good with other dogs.

Napoleon, Nappy to his friends, is a 6 year old neutered male. He is a big boy and well behaved. Nappy knows some commands, is crate and house trained and good on a leash. He likes other dogs and kids.

Jacob is a 1 year old neutered blue male. He is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs once he gets to know them. Jacob knows some commands and needs more work on a leash. He is s sweet boy and was given an "A" rating for disposition by my vet!

Cipher is a 20 month old neutered male. He is a small guy and is house and crate trained. Cipher was working with a trainer and doing some marathon training. He knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. Cipher likes other dogs and kids, but you need to watch him around food. NO CATS!

Dora is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs once she gets used to them. Dora knows some commands and is well behaved and a sweet girl. She would prefer to be an only dog in an adult household.

Gus is a 5 year old neutered male. He is a very nice boy. He is crate and house trained and good with other dogs. NO CATS! Gus knows some commands and is good on a leash. He just started some off leash training and is doing well at that. He loves to ride in the car.

Macie is an almost 5 month old spayed female. I call her the alligator puppy since she jumps up and bites with her sharp teeth. No one trained her not to do this. She is very smart and already knows how to sit so it shouldn't be too hard to train her. She loves other dogs but because of the jumping and mouthing, she is on "No Small Kids" status.

Leo is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a smaller guy, about 60 pounds. Leo is crate and house trained and has lived with kids, cats and other dogs. He knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash.

Cray is a 7 month old spayed female. NO KIDS! Cray is a jumper and hasn't learned acceptable manners yet. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. She loves to play! Cray knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash.

Journey is an almost 2 year old spayed female Weimador. She is a good girl who just lost her home due to a divorce. Journey was very sad to have to leave her lab friend, but perked up when she got back here and met her new friends. She loves to play. Journey is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids. She may play a litte too rough for small dogs and may chase cats (or maybe not). Journey knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. She is also Invisible Fence trained.

Shea is a 5 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, but goes pretty nuts in the crate and is fine loose in the house. She is good with other dogs (unless they get in her space on the bed!) kids and should be ok with cats. She knows a bunch of commands and is good on a leash. She is a very nice girl who loves to hang out with her people.

Titan 3 is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, but doesn't need to be in a crate. He knows some commands and pulls on the leash. He is good with other dogs and kids. Titan is a big boy, active but gentle.

Sparky is a 10 year old neutered male. He is a tall guy! Sparky's owner was deployed and he had no where to go. He is a little weak in the rear, but he in on several supplements and acupuncture and is getting sronger. Spark is good with other dogs and is house trained. He is fine loose in the house. He knows some commands and is a pretty nice guy who would love to have a home with no steps.

Noweii is a 14 month old female Weimador. She is spayed and has just finished her heartworm treatment and is ready to go to her new home! Noweii is a sweet girl, knows some commands, is crate and house trained and good with kids and other dogs. NO CATS! Noweii loves to play and loves to chase tennis balls.

Lenny is an 18 month old neutered male. He is a tall boy and is good with other dogs. Lenny is house and crate trained and knows some commands, but needs to learn more manners. He still jumps up and he can be mouthy when he is excited. He loves to play and is a nice boy who will really benefit from training.

Princeton is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. Princeton knows a couple of commands and needs some more training and leash work. He is a nice boy and on the smaller side.

Macy is a 2 year old spayed female. She has completed her heartworm treatment and is good to go! She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. Macy knows some commands and is good on a leash. She is very friendly and a nice girl.

Cali is a 3 year old spayed female. She is a big girl, but gentle. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. Cats are ok, too. She knows some commands and loves to go to the beach. Cali is a nice girl, very sweet and loves to be the center of attention!

Trey is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a bit overweight right now, but he is a nice, sweet boy. Trey is good with other dogs and kids and was nervous around the cats at the vet. He might chase them, but if they bat at him, he backs off. Trey knows some commands and could use some work on a leash.

Jake and Elwood are 4 year old brothers whose owner died. They are house and crate trained and are content to just lay around. They are fine out of a crate. The boys don't seem to know how to do anything, but are well behaved and good with other dogs. They can be split up.

Margie is a 10 year old spayed "Weimador" who was left at the vet by her owners. She is a small girl, very sweet and quiet. She loves the other dogs and is just a good girl. She knows some commands and is good on a leash. MArgie is house and crate trained, but doesn't need to be in a crate. She is a very nice little girl to have around.

Dora is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and loves kids. Dora was shy around other dogs, but is good with them now. Dora knows some commands, is pretty good on a leash and is a very sweet, loving girl.

Snoopie is a 5 year old neutered male. He is a big boy. He is good with other dogs and kids. Snoopie is crate and house trained, but doesn't really need to be in a crate. He knows some commands and is ok on a leash (he pulls some). Snoopie likes to ride in the car and go swimming.

Willie is a really nice blue boy. He is 4 and neutered. He is good with kids and other dogs and loves swimming and riding in the car. (He wasn't real thrilled with the bath, but he got over it) Willie is house and crate trained but really doesn't need a crate. He knows commands and is pretty good on a leash.

Scout is a 1 1/2 year old neutered mle. He is house and crate trained and likes to ride in the car and go swimming. Scout knows some commands and is ok on a leash. He likes kids and other dogs, but he plays rough. He is a sweet boy and loves to follow you around!

Jamie is a 1 year old spayed female weim mix. She is house and crate trained and good with most other dogs. Jamie knows some commands, but would beneift from a training class so she learns who is in charge! She is a nice, pretty girl that just wants her own famiy.

Wilson is an almost 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained but can be destructive in the crate. Wilson is good with other dogs and bigger kids. He is good on a leash and just finished training camp where he learned proper socialization with other dogs and people. He listens well but works much better with males. He will still jump up and is mouthy with women. Wilson will need a stong alpha person. He is in Manassas.

Hunter is a 5 year old neutered male. This is a nice boy! Hunter is house and crate trained, knows commands, is good on a leash, good with other dogs and kids. Hunter has never been around cats, but cats are probably not a good idea.

Mossy is a 4 yer old neutered male. He is on the smaller side. Mossy is a very good boy, house and crate trained, knows commands, good on a leash and good with other dogs and kids. Mossy has never met a cat, but I don't think he would be good with them.

Glenda is a 16 month old spayed female. She isn't a big girl, about 50 pounds. Glenda is house and crate trained, knows some commands and is good on a leash. She likes kids and most other dogs I properly introduced. She can be shy at first, but warms up quickly. Glenda does not like her nails being done and we struggled with a bath, but I prevailed! She is now nice and clean and ready for her new home!

Spencer is a 10 month old, neutered Weimador. He is a barrel of energy and is crate andhouse trained, good with other dogs and knows some commands. He is good on a leash, he just wants to play! Spencer is heartworm positive and needs to be treated. The rescue will pay for his treatment, but he needs a home that can keep him quiet for the 60 day period. That may be a challenge. But he is a nice dog and will be very loyal.

Jewel is a very pretty, 16 month old blue female. She will be spayed before placement. Jewel is a little girl, about 50 pounds and is quite energetic. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. Jewel knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. She will need a lot of exercise, so someone who runs would be good. Jewel does have experience with being "biked" for exercise.

Winston is a 6 year old neutered male. He is a sweet guy. He is crate and house trained, but would prefer not to be in a crate, and is good with other dogs and kids. Winston knows some commands and is an excellent counter surfer! He is not too bad on a leash.

Casey is an 18 month old spayed female. She is smaller, about 56 pounds. Casey is shy, but warms up pretty quickly. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. Casey knows a few commands and is ok on a leash. She is a very sweet girl.

Brooklyn is an almost 1 year old Weim/Pointer mix. She is spayed, crate and house trained and not bad on a leash. Brooke knows some commands and is good with other dogs. She just met some cats and thought it was great fun to chase them around the house! Brooke is a smaller dog, about 50 pounds. She is a cute, fun little girl.

Heidi is a 2 year old spayed female. She is a nice girl and knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. Heidi is house and crate trained and good with other dogs.

Lizzie is a 15 month old spayed female. She is a smaller girl, about 43 pounds, but she is a pistol! Lizzie is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. she knows some commands and is ok on a leash.

Lexi is a 15 month old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. Lexi knows some commands, but jumps up a lot, so no small kids. She would benefit from obedience training. Lexi is pretty good on a leash.

Angel is a 4 year old spayed female. She is a good girl, house and crate trained, but she will bark in the crate. Angel knows some commands and is not bad on a leash. She loves to play and is good with other dogs and kis.

Titan is a 5 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids and probably cats. He loves to go to the dog park and knows a bunch of commands. He is not too bad on a leash. Titan would love a home where someone is home a lot so he can hang out with his peeps!

Apollo is a 2 year old neutered male, white weim (yes, he really is!). He is crate and house trained and loves other dogs. Apollo is good on a leash. He doesn't know any commands, but he is a sweet, big boy.

Chloe is a 10 year old spayed female, whos owner was deployed. She is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids. She is a smaller girl and very active. Chloes knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. She is nice girl.

Brandy is a 4 year old spayed female. She is a small thing, at 43 pounds. Brandy is house and crate trained and likes other dogs. She LOVES bones and balls. She is a sweet little girl and knows some commands.

Riley is a nice 4 year old neutered male. He is good with kids and other dogs. Riley is house and crate trained, but doesn't like the crate. He has a bit of separation anxiety and can be destructive when left alone. So he would do best with someone who is home a lot or has a doggie door. Riley is obedience trained and pretty good on a leash.

Gus is a 2 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and kids and was cat tested at the shelter and did fine. He is good on a leash and has experience as a running partner. Gus is crate and house trained and loves to play and ride in the car. He is a nice boy and very gentle.

Grayson is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. He is good on a leash, listens well and knows some commands. Grayson rides well in the car. He likes to play and will fetch.

Tommy and Joey are 12 week old Weim/Brittany Spaniel mixes, commonly called a "Weimany"! They look like little black weimaraners and have docked tails. I have no idea what they will look like when they are older. They are crate trained and pretty much house trained if you watch them closely. Given the mix of these two breeds, they are going to be pretty active adults!

Blue is a 9 year old spayed female. She is a blue! Blue is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. She knows some commands and will do them if she feels like it. Blue is active, but laid back. She is good on a leash and is Invisible Fence trained.

Grayce is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She is a big girl and is very sweet. She is good with other dogs and is crate and house trained. She doesn't like to go in the crate but we are working on that and she is already better. Grayce doesn't know many commands, but she is a nice girl and wants to please. She would benefit from obedience classes to build her confidence.

Winnie is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. She knows some commands and is ok on a leash.

Jasmine is an 11 year old spayed female. You wouldn't know she was 11, she is very active! She is good with other dogs and kids and has lived with cats. She knows some commands and is crate and house trained. Jasmine is good in the car and wants to please.

Axel is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained but must be in a reinforced crate since he thinks he is Houdini. (Unless you like having a wet nose in your face at 4am!) Axel knows some commands and is good on a leash. He also likes other dogs. In addition to his Houdini like skills, he can also vault a 5' fence. This seems to happen when he spots kids on the other side. But he listens well and comes when you call.

Callie is a 1 1 /2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and knows some commands. She is not too bad on a leash. Callie likes other dogs. She came from a rural area and is pretty shy and somwewhat skittish at the noise of the suburbs. But she is getting better.

Nola is 2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and not too bad on a leash. She knows some commands, but they need reinforcing. Nola listens pretty well and is good with other dogs.

Blitz is a 2 year old neutered male. He is nice boy. Blitz knows some commands and is crate and house trained. He is not too bad on a leash and good with other dogs.

Smokey is a 1 year old spayed female with a tail. She came from a rural area and is getting used to the commotions in the suburbs. Smokey will need training in obedience and leash. She is crate and house trained and good with other dogs, wants to play. She is pretty shy, though, and won't always come in when you call her, but she is getting better!

Cookie is a 7 month old, spayed Pointer/Terrier mix. She is about 50 pounds and is house and crate trained. Cookie plays well with other dogs and we are working on her jumping up on people. She is learning some commands and is working on her lash skills. Cookie just wants to love someone and is a friendly, sweet thing. she was never picked up after being spayed, so, of course, I took her.

Winston is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. Winston knnows some commands and needs work on a leash. He is a happy, friendly guy!

Athena is a 16 week old chocolate Weimador. She is spayed and is pretty well house trained. Athena is crate trained as well. She needs training as she jumps up and is mouthy and has sharp puppy teesth. So small kids are not recommended. athena is good with other dogs and wants to play, play, play!

Seela is an 8 month old spayed female with a tail! She is house and crate trained and knows how to sit (most of the time). She is good with other dogs and loves to play! Seela is not bad on a leash but would benefit from some obedience training. She does jump up and she loves to play!

Ginny is about 2 years old and is spayed. She is a sweet girl and is house and crate trained. She is good with other dogs but can be a little snappy around the food dish. She is a little thin so that may be why. Ginny knows some commands and is not bad on a leash. She would really like to get her drivers license but that is probably not such a god idea, so she will be content to just go for car rides.

Lily is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She has a tail and is a very sweet and pretty calm girl. She gets along well with other dogs and is crate and house trained. Lily knows some commands and rides well in the car. She is not bad on a leash.

Farley is an 8 month old Weimador. We think his dad was a yellow lab. He is a small guy and he is a sweetie. Farley spent a lot of time at Doggie Day Care and got along great with the other dogs. He is crate and house trained. Farley knows how to sit and is not too bad on a leash. He is blind in one eye for reasons unknown, but it doesn't affect him. He likes to play. Farley could use some obedience lessons. He is good in the cuddling department!

Gunner is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. He knows some commands and needs some work on a leash. He loves to run and play and would like to have someone to spend a lot of time with.

Loki is a nice 20 month old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and good with other dogs. He knows some commands and isn't too bad on a leash. Loki just discovered stufffed toys at his foster home. He is a good boy and very sweet. He was turned in becasue he supposedly growled when someone told him to get off the couch. We have tried to repeat that behavior and he has not done it and has hopped off when told. Loki listens well and wants to please.

Cheyenne is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and has good manners, having been trained in a prison program! She is good with other dogs and has not met a cat.

Lola is a 3 year old blue female. She is spayed, house and crate trained and good with kids and other dogs. She has never met a cat. Lola is ok on a leash and knows some commands. She likes to chase tennis balls and not give them back, and she excells in counter surfing!

Hokie is a 13 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and knows some commands. Hokie needs some work. He jumps up, so no small kids, and he sometimes growls if he has a bone and thinks someone is invading his space. He loves attention and fetching.

Vanna is a 4 year old spayed blue female. She has a tail! Vanna is house and crate trained and good with dogs of all sizes and kids. she is said to be ok with cats, but we don't have any to test her with. She knows some commands and walks pretty well on a leash.

Savannah is a 4 year old spayed female. She is overweight, but is a sweet girl. She is house and crate trained but doesn't really need to be in a crate. she is good with other dogs, but would prefer to be an only dog. She knows a bunch of commands and walks well on a leash. Savannah snores, but that may stop when she loses some weight!

Chelsea is a 2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. She knows some commands and needs some work on a leash.

Abby is a 15 month old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. Abby has a lot of energy and jumps up. She knows some commands and is good on a leash. No cats!

Suede is a 3 year old neutered blue male. He is house and crate trained and good with bigger kids and other dogs. He is Invisible fence trained. Suede loves to swim, ride in the car and go on a boat. He knows some commands and is not bad on a leash. Suede is a country boy and prefers a quieter neighborhood, he has had a tough time getting used to the city and suburbs, so a large place without many neighbors would be good for him.

Jake is a 9 month old blue male. He is house and crate trained and is great with other dogs. He was said to have lived with kids. Jake knows some commands and needs work on a leash. He would do best in a home where someone is around a lot and there is another dog to play with him.

Lucy is a 2 year old spayed blue female. She is very submissive and needs a patient owner. She is very sweet and wants to please. Lucy is crate trained and good with other dogs. She is not too bad on a leash and knows how to sit.

Forrest is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and knows some commands. He is good with other dogs.

Mischa is a 9 year old spayed female. She is good with kids and other dogs and has never been around a cat. Mischa is house and crate trained and knows some commands. She likes to go on walks and play ball. She becomes anxious when there is a pregnant lady in the household, so no homes where someone is likely to be pregnant. She is a good girl and just wants a family to hang around with.

Ogee is an older neutered male, probably around 8-10 years old. He is a very gentle, sweet boy! Ogee is crate and house trained and good with other dogs. He should be fine with kids and probably cats. He seems to know some commands and is good on a leash. Ogee wandered a neighborhood for about a month before someone took him in. No one was looking for him. Too bad, becasue he is a sweet, sweet boy.

Pete is a goober! He is 3, neutered and is very loveable. He just wants to be with you whether it is inside or outside. Pete has just finished his heartworm treatment and is ready for his new home. He is crate and house trained and has good manners. He likes other dogs and has not been around cats.

Nate is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and knows some commands. He is good on a leash and good with other dogs and some cats. Nate was very shy and would do best in a quiet household without men, since he is worried about them. He has come a long way and needs a caring, loving person who will spend lots of time with him. He is very loyal.

Mira is an 8 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and knows lots of commands. Mira is a retired show dog and still has her "showy" figure! Her ideal home would be one where she is the only dog, no kids and previous sporting dog experience. Mira is good on a leash and will make an awsome pet for the right home.

Otto is a 3 1/2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is good with kids and other dogs. It was said he was good with cats, but he wants to play with the cats, so yours better be cats who don't mind dogs! Otto knows some commands and is fair on a leash. He does listen well and likes to play with a ball.

Dallas is a 7 year old spayed female. She is smaller, about 59 pounds. Dallas has lived with other dogs, kids of all ages and cats. You can see her squished into the cat bed at home while the cat is on the dog bed! Dallas knows a bunch of commands, loves riding in the car and is good on a leash. She likes riding in the car and going out on a boat. Dallas has some allergies so she eats a particular brand of food (available at regular pet stores).

Jayda is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house trained and hasn't been in a crate since she was little. She knows some commands and is good on and off leash. Jayda is good with most other dogs and kids. She is prone to ear infections and will need to have her ears taken good care of. Becasue of this, she doesn't like having her ears touched.

Sable is a 7 year old spayed female. She is overweight right now, but likes to chase balls and go for walks. She is house trained and good with other dogs and kids. Sable is good on and off leash and knows some commands. She is very loving and would like to sleep on the bed!

Boris is a 6 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and bigger kids. He has been around cats, but will chase them if they run to get them to play. Boris knows some commands and needs a little work on his leash skills. He hasn't had much swimming experience, but will play in the water. He does love to fetch!

Gage is an 8 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. He is house trained and good on and off leash. He loves to play and is good with other dogs and kids. He has never been around cats. Gage likes to swim and ride in the car. He is quite a ball player and can catch a frisbee. Running through the woods is one of his favorite things and he can also beat you at hide and seek!

Slate is a 2 1/2 year old spayed blue female. She is house trained but does not do well in a crate. S he does fine in a large gated area when no one is home. Slate is good withother dogs and bigger kids. She needs to be introduced to strangers in the house slowly. She will chase cats but has never done anything to them. She loves to play and swim and ride in the car. She loves to retrieve balls. Slate walks well on a gentle leader and knows a bunch of commands.

Porter is a 9 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and knows some commands. He needs work on a leash. He is a sweet boy who likes other dogs and loves to play! He will be better with bigger kids since he still jumps up. Porter has a deformed rear leg from a broken femur that was not repaired and he is not a candidate for surgery. It doesn't bother him, just looks a little strange, and he can run and play with the best of them!

LooLoo is an 18 month old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and loves to play! She would do best with another dog. LooLoo knows some commands and is working on her leash skills. did I mention that she loves to play?

Molly is an 8 month old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and came from the country so she is getting used to all the noises of city life! She is adapting quickly. Molly is small, 45 pounds and is good with the other dogs. She needs some work on her leash skills but she seems to be a fast learner.

Myer is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a very sweet boy and is house and crate trained. He is working on his manners and could use more work on a leash. Myer is good with other dogs and kids and I don't know if he has met any cats.

Misty is a 6 year old female. She will be spayed before placement. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. She listens well and is not too bad on a leash. She is very loving and wants to please. Misty was surrendered when her owner died.

Reba is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. Reba is very submissive so she may be ok with cats. She is a sweet thing, on the smaller side and loves her crate! She will chase a ball when she gets comfortable, but mostly she wants to snuggle. She knows some commands and listens well. Reba would probably do best in a quieter household. Reba is extremely camera shy and I am trying to get better pictures.

Missy is an 18 month old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. She knows some commands but would benefit from some obedience training. She needs work on a leash. Missy loves to play and listens pretty well.

Taz is a 3 year old neutered, blue male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. He will need to be introduced properly to other male dogs so he doesn't try to dominate. Taz knows some commands and walks well on a prong collar and probably a Gentle leader. He is a sweet boy who adapts to a new situation quickly.

Amy is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and very loving and loyal. Amy is crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids, but may dominate other female dogs some. She knows some commands and is a tall girl, but very sweet and pretty well behaved.

Bailey is an active 11 year old neutered male. He is a good dog, and is kind and sweet. He is house and crate trained and likes other dogs and kids. He likes to ride in the car and wade in the water. He knows a bunch of commands and is pretty good on a leash. He has been around cats with no problem.

Coby is a 6 year old neutered male. He is a big boy, but very gentle and good with kids, other dogs and cats. He is house and crate trained, but doesn't really need a crate. Coby knows alot of commands and is well behaved. He pulls on the leash some, but that is easy to work with. His current owner describes him as a fun loving, friendly boy who will melt your heart with his wonderful personality. He has been trained by Bark Busters and those benefits come with him.

Eden is a 3 year old spayed female. Sheis a little overweight, but loves to play and run so it should be easy for her to lose weight. Eden is house and crate trained and knows some commands. She is pretty good on a leash. She is good with other dogs and kids. Eden is a sweet girl.

Murphy is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a small guy at 48 punds. He also has a tail. Murphy is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. He is not bad on a leash and knows some commands. He is a happy little guy!

	Hannah is a 1 year old spayed female Weimador (weim/lab mix). She is small, about 38 pounds. Hannah is crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids. She had a rough start and was hit by a car, shattering her rear leg. It t was surgically corrected but her leg is shorter and she uses it for balance and kind of hops around. It doesn't bother her and she still runs and plays without any problem. Hannah even smiles when she is out in a blizzard!

Chance is a 4 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and does not do well with other dogs. He has not been around kids, but there is a new baby amd he has just been curious and sniffing. He was with a cat a few yars ago and chased it when it ran. Tucker walks well on a gentle Leader and likes to ride in the car and play Frisbee. He knows some commands and oves to cuddle.

Jag is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a sweet guy but needs an owner who will be his alpha. He likes other dogs but tends to dominate them, but he is doing much better with this. He is good with bigger kids and is crate and house trained. Jag knows some commands and needs some work on his leash skills.

Sam is a 1 year old neutered blue male. He is house trained but not crate trained. (We'll see how he does in a crate when he gets here!) He is good withother big dogs and loves kids. He has been around cats some. Sam likes to play and run and is trained on an Invisible Fence. He would do best with another dog in the household.

Scooby is a nice 4 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained but behaves well enough he shouldn't need a crate. He likes other dogs and kids and is said to have lived with cats. Scooby knows some commands had has nice manners. He isn't too bad on a leash. Scooby is overweight, but he is on a diet and should have that taken care of in no time!

Toby is a 3 year old neutered male. He is quite overweight at 118 pounds, but has just started a diet and exercise plan! He is house and crate trained, knows some commands and is good on a leash. Toby likes other dogs and kids and would probably be ok with cats because he is too fat to chase them! I threw a ball and he watched it and then waddled after it to see what it was. So there is some hope there!

Drifter is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a smaller guy at 48 pounds. Drifter is house and crate trained, good on a leash and knows some commands. He is a sweet boy and likes other dogs and kids.

Van is an 8 month old neutered albino male. He is going to be a special needs guy due to the lack of pigmentation in his skin and eyes. He is going to be evaluated by the opthamologist since ist seems he may have some vision issues. Van is mostly house trained and crate trained and good with most other dogs as long as they can tolerate a non stop, hard player. He will be best with older kids. Van is good on a leash but due to his poor vision, he doesn't realize what is approaching him and barks like a maniac and can get pretty worked up.

Jackson is a 14 month old male. He will be neutered before placement. Jackson is house and crate trained, but it is somewhat of a battle to get him in the crate. Once in there, he is fine. Jackson likes other dogs and kids and has not met any cats close up. He is a fast learner, having mastered "sit" and leash walking in a couple of hours.

Bobby is a nice 4 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained but can be a little noisy in the crate at first. He is ok left loose in the house as long as you don't close him in a room and put up the trash and food! Pretty typical for a weim! He is not bad on a leash and likes other dogs and kids. Bobby has lived with cats. He knows some commands and likes to ride in the car.

Tucker is a nice, 4 year old neutered male. He is great with kids and likes other dogs. He has not been around cats much, but was mostly curious when he met one. Tucker is house trained and has not had much crate experience. He knows some commands and walks well on a gentle leader. Tuckers family is being transferred. He is currently iin Ft.

Tasha is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with kids and other dogs. She likes cats but will chase them if they run. Tasha swims and loves to ride in the car. She needs some leash work and knows some commands She is an excellent counter surfer! She would like to find a home with her buddy, Boris, but will be ok without him.

Morgan is a 10 year old spayed female. she is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. Morgan is pretty laid back, but plenty active and loves to run around in the yard with the other dogs. She is alos perfectly happy to follow you around and lie at your feet. She likes to ride in the car, knows a bunch of commands and is good on a leash.

Journey is a cute, little 8 month old "Weimador", a weim/lab mix. She is spayed, house and crate trained and loves other dogs and kids. She should be fine with cats. Journey is not bad on a leash and is learning some commands. She can be a little shy at first, but warms up quickly if you have food or kids!

Ryder is a nice dog. He is a neutered lab mix, 3-4 years old and is house and crate trained. He is good with other dogs and kids and likes to ride in the car. Ryder is one of those that you go "wow, this is a good dog". He is very sweet and has a great disposition.

Rave is a 1 1/2 year old Plott Hound. Plott Hounds look very similar to Weims, hence the mistake the shelter made in figuring out what he was. Rave is crate and house trained and not bad on a leash. He knows some commands and likes to ride in the car. He is good with other dogs and should be good with kids. Rave is a smaller boy, about 50 pounds, and has beautiful gray brindle markings. He is quite a sweetie and was a favorite at the shelter.

Bettie is a 5 year old spayed female. She is good with other dogs, cats and kids. Bettie is house and crate trained and is good on a leash. she loves to swim and ride in the car. Bettie knows some commands and likes to run and play. She is worried about the vacuum cleaner, though!

Jake is a 10 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and likes other dogs and kids. Jake has never met a cat. He knows a bunch of commands and is good on a leash. Jake likes to ride in the car and as you can tell, he loves to swim and fetch! Jake is a sweet boy who just wants someone to pay attention to him.

Rebel is a 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and kids. He will chase cats and turkeys. Rebel knows a few commands and is working on his leash skills. He likes to ride in the car and he is good off leash on hikes.

Maximus is a 7 1/2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids. Maximus has lived with cats. He responds well on a leash and and knows both voice and hand commands. He loves to fetch and ride in the car. Maximus has been trained as a running partner.

Bubba is a 10 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, good with kids and other dogs. Bubba knows some commands and is a sweet guy. He likes to ride in the car and hang out with you!

Molly is a 5 year old Doberman. She will be spayed before placement. She is a big girl, but pretty well behaved and good with most other dogs and kids. She is crate and house trained. Molly knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. She likes to ride in the car and loves to play outside!

Val is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and likes to play outside and go in the car. Val knows some commands and is good with other dogs and kids.

JunieMoon is a nice 2 1/2 year old spayed female. She is good with other dogs and is house and crate trained. JunieMoon jumps up so she may knock small kids over. She knows some commands and is not too bad on a leash.

Stone is a 3 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. Stone is crate and house trained and good with other dogs. He jumps up, so bigger kids would be best. He knows some commands but would love to go to obedience school to work on his manners and leash walking. Stone is a sweet guy who just wants to love someone!

Cain is an 8 year old neutered male. He is a very nice dog, quiet, housetrained and happy to follow you around and hang out. He is quite active.

Frida is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained. Frida knows basic commands but could use a training class. She is good with other dogs after she meets them and not too bad with kids, but needs some work on that. Frida likes to ride in the car.

Gibbs is a 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He is a nice boy and is crate and house trained. Gibbs is good with other dogs and kids and knows some commands. He is not bad on a leash. I don't know if Gibbs has met any cats. He likes to play and has good house manners.

Sabre is a sweet, 2 year old spayed female. She has "dobie markings" or "the mark of the hound" as the annoucer's at the Westminster Dog Show like to say! Sabre is crate and house trained and likes other dogs and kids. She knows some commands and is good on a leash.

Charlie is a 2 1/2 year old German Shorthaired Pointer. He is a smaller boy and will be neutered before placement. Charlie is crate and house trained and knows some commands. He walks well on a leash and is good in the car. He is good with kids and other dogs.

Jasper is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and knows lots of commands. He is pretty well behaved and is good with other dogs and big kids. (No small kids, please) He likes to go hiking off leash and play in the water. Jasper is a very sweet boy who needs to know who his alpha is so he can respect that.

Lady is a 12 year old spayed blue female. She is a very sweet girl and is great in the house and in the car. Lady knows some commands and loves other dogs. She should be fine with kids since she is very calm. She listens well and loves to go outside.

Mia is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. Mia has a tail! She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. Mia is nervous around small kids. She knows some commands and is working on her leash skills. Mia is a sweet girl who has never met a cat.

Cooper is a 6 year old neutered blue boy. He is house and crate trained and is good with kids, other dogs and cats. He loves to swim and ride in the car and run and play. Cooper has been with all ages of kids but is pretty energetic and may knock over a small kid. He listens well and has good manners and leash walking skills. Cooper likes to sneak up on the couch when you aren't looking!

Lila is a nice 3 year old spayed female. Lila was really fat and has lost a bunch of weight and she is now "pleasantly plump"! She has hangy skin which will tighten up with more exercise. Lila loves to swim and run and she loves kids. She is good with other dogs at her house, but can be a little aggresive to other dogs when she is out with her family. She is house and crate trained and knows some commands. Lila loves to carry her bear around with her.

Shelby is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained an knows some commands. She id great with kids and other dogs. She has never met a cat. Shelby loves to run and keep active. She is a counter surfer and will steal your food!

Roxy is a swett, loving 2 year old spayed female. She craves attention and loves to have her belly rubbed. Roxy is good with other dogs and has not been around kids or cats. She is house and crate trained and has nice manners.

Tyler is a 1 1/2 year old blue male. He will be neutered before placement. Tyler is a sweet boy and is pretty skinny right now. He knows some commands, is crate and house trained and not too bad on a leash. He is good with other dogs and has been around kids. No idea about cats.

Mason is a nice 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He is a happy guy and loves to play. He is house and crate trained, pretty good on a leash and knows some commands. He likes kids and other dogs. He is full of energy and would be a good running partner. Mason

Otto is a 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids and loves to play. He knows some commands and is good on a leash.

	Titan is an 11 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and kids. I don't know if he has seen a cat. Titan is house and crate trained but doesn't need a crate. He is a laid back, easy going guy. Titan has designated himself as the "enforcer" and lets out a loud "rooooof" when the puppies are misbehaving! He loves to ride in the car and is good on a leash.

Blue is a 3 year old neutered blue male. He is crate and housetrained and good with other dogs and bigger kids. He hasn't met any cats, but was fine with a pack of Papillons, who are furry like cats and noisy! Blue knows some commands and is not bad on a leash. He seems to be worried about men, so an all female household would be best for him. He is a sweet, big boy.

Smokey is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, good with other bigger dogs and bigger kids. NO CATS! Smokey knows some commands and walks well on a prong collar. He would make a great running partner! He loves to play fetch.

Lindy, Luna and Sara are 5 1/2 month old puppies. They are spayed and crate trained. They are working on thier potty training and trying to walk on a leash. Puppies are alot of work, especially these 3, so please remember the time commitment you will need when inquiring about them.

Jett is a nice, 3 year old neutered blue male. Don't let the gray around his muzzle fool you (maybe he is just trying to be a gray weim!) as the blues sometimes gray early. Jett is quite a nice fellow. He is house and crate trained, knows some commands, including "give paw" and is not bad on a leash when he remembers that you are in charge! He likes other dogs and kids and didn't go nuts when he saw a cat at the shelter.

Murphy is a 14 month old neutered male. He is a playful pup and is learning good manners. He loves to fetch balls and crash on the couch.

Palmer is an almost 2 year old neutered male. He was abandoned at a daycare place. He is crate and housetrained and knows some commands. He is not to bad on a Gentle Leader. Palmer likes other dogs and is said to be ok with cats. Palmer does eat things he is not supposed to, like shoes, rocks and whatever you leave lying around, so he needs close supervision.

	Alvin is a 3 year old neutered male. He likes other dogs and is very energetic. He is house and crate trained obedience trained and now he is into Dock Diving! So, you are going to need a pool and lots of water for Alvin to practice!

Cash is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a smaller boy and is currently going through heartworm treatment. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs. He needs some training for jumping up and to learn some manners, so small kids are probably not a good idea. Cash is a real sweet boy who will be very loyal to you!

Hunter is a HUGE 9 month old male. He will be neutered before placement. Hunter was allowed to do whatever he wanted to do (bad move for this breed!) and is not crate trained and doesn't have any manners. He also is not good on a leash. We have been working on the crate problem (I am winning that one) and you can see from his blurry pictures that he doesn't stand still very much. He needs ALOT of training and time. Hunter is good with the other dogs and has not been around kids or cats.

Sasha is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. She has been around cats, but may chase them. Sasha has nice manners and is ok on a leash but could use a little more work. She loves to ride in the car and go swimming.

Lilly is a 1 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained and likes to ride in the car, although you have to keep reminding her that she is supposed to be in the back seat, not driving! Lilly is good with other dogs and has not been around kids or cats. She knows a few commands and needs some leash work. Lilly's main goal is playing and she plays hard!

Ike is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and knows some commands. Ike is good with other dogs and kids and has lived with cats. He loves to swim and ride in the car. Ike could use some leash training.


	Travis is a blur! He is always on the move but is a sweet, 1 year old blue boy. He is neutered, crate and house trained and ok on a leash. He likes other dogs and kids, don't know if he has met a cat. Travis is a smaller boy and he listens well.

Storm is an 11 month old spayed female. She is crate and house trained and is good with other dogs and may be ok with cats. She has not been around kids. Storm needs to learn some manners and how to walk on a leash. Storm would do best in a home with another dog. She has a natural tail.

Thunder is an 11 month old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and is a tall, lanky fellow. He is good with other dogs and may be ok with cats. He has not been around kids. Thunder needs to learn some manners and how to walk on a leash. He has a natural tail.

Lena is a 9 year old spayed female. She is a wonderful companion and is house and crate trained. She likes other dogs and kids and is good on a leash. Lena loves going for walks and riding in the car. She is very affectionate and listens well.

Jackson is a 5 year old neutered blue male. He is crate and house trained and good on a leash. He knows basic commands and likes to swim and go for rides. Jackson is good with some other dogs, but not all. He is protective of his house and his family so no kids under 10 years old. Jackson has a high prey drive and may be a good hunting companion. No cats for Jackson.

Princessa is a 5 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and has lived with other dogs and kids. She has not met a cat. Princessa loves to run around and ride in the car. She is Invisible Fence trained and enjoys chasing balls. She knows a few commands and is not too bad on a leash.

Tater is a 5 month old neutered male "Weimador", a Weim and Lab mix. He is a very pretty chocoalte color and has soft fur and a tail! Tater is working on his housebreaking and is crate trained. He is having fun playing with the other dogs and neighborhood kids. Tater is working on basic commands and comes when called and almost sits. He would love to go to Puppy Kindergarden with his new family.

Georgie is a 2 year old spayed femlae. She is very quiet and a little shy. She is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs. Older kids would probably be best since she is shy. She listens well and is a sweet girl. She is working on her commands, but comes when called and isn't bad on a leash. Georgie is Heartworm Positive and will be starting her treatment. Then she will need to be on Heartworm preventative, like they all should be.

Zelda is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, but prfers to not be in the crate! Zelda has lived with other dogs, kids and a cat. She knows basic commands, listens well and could use some lash work. Zelda loves swimming, chasing balls and riding in the car.


	Hopey is a 3 year old spayed Old English Sheepdog mix. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs, kids and cats. Hopey is a very nice girl.

Buckley is a 1 1/2 year old neutered blue male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. Buckley knows some commands and is ok on a leash. He is a sweet guy.

Jewel is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and likes kids and other dogs. Jewel walks well on a leash and knows some commands.

Winston is a 3 year old neutered male. He is obedience trained and walks well on a leash. Winston is a nice boy who is also crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids.

Cooper is a really nice, laid back 7 year old neutered male. He is well trained and is good on and off leash. Cooper likes other dogs and kids and hasn't met a cat. As you can see, he prefers lounging on the couch!

Drake is a 13 month old neutered male. He is a big boy. Drake is crate and house trained and is good with other dogs and kids. Drake has lived with cates but will chase them if they run. He has been to obedience school and doggie day care and did well in both. He is good on a leash with a prong collar. Drake is Invisible Fence trained. He does have some Separation Anxiety and will drool in his crate.

Luke is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a nice dog and is crate and house trained, knows a bunch of commands and is good with other dogs and kids. He is a sweet boy and loves to rub up against you.

Petunia is a 2 1/2 year old blue female. She is a sweetie. She is spayed, crate and house trained and good with other dogs, kids and cats. She is a bit shy at first, but warms up quickly. Petunia is pretty good on a leash. She is fat, but diet and exercise will help that!

Maddie is a 3 year old spayed English Pointer. She is a nice girl and is good with other dogs and should be fine with kids. She is house and crate trained and does a cute little "pointer dance" when she is happy to see you, which is all the time! Since she is a hunting dog, cats are probably not a good idea. She would love to have a lap to sit in!

Kika is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and good with other dogs once she gets used to them. She is a bit shy, so bigger kids are probably better. It is unknown if she has ever met a cat. Kika knows some commands and could use some work on her lash skills. She loves to ride in the car.

Theo is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a little overweight, but with more exercise he should overcome that quickly. He is very friendly, sweet and loving and is crate and house trained. Theo like other dogs and kids and I don't know if he has met any cats. He seems to be pretty gentle, so he might be ok with them. He is good on a leash and knows some commands.

Anna is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and loves to get on the furniture and get in the trash. So she will need an owner who can outwit her! Anna loves to go for walks and has recently discovered swimming. She is good with most other dogs and she likes kids. She has learned to behave around cats but might need a little refresher in that. Anna can be territorial in her yard and car and will bark at people going by. She is great in the car.

Bama is a 2 1/2 year old English Lab. She is very well behaved and has had obedience training. Good with other dogs and kids and good on a leash. Bama has been with her pal Gator since they were puppies and they would like to stay together.

Gator is a 2 year old chocolate Lab. He is well behaved and good on a leash. He has been to obedience training and likes kids and other dogs. Gator came in with his buddy Bama and they would like to stay together.

Buddy is a 6 year old neutered male. He is a really nice boy. Buddy is crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids. He walks well on a leash and has been obedience trained.

Oscar is a big 14 month old male. He will be neutered before placement. He is good with other dogs and kids and is learning his manners. Oscar is house and crate trained (although he is not thrilled about the crate!) and pretty good on a leash. He will need to go to obedience classes.

Ghost is a 5 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and likes kids and some female dogs. He does not get along with most male dogs. Ghost is good in the house and doesn't really need a crate. He loves going for walks (which is a good thing since he is overweight!) and riding in the car. Cats are probably not a good idea.

Duke is a 8 month old neutered male. He is a bit shy, but warms up quickly. Duke is crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids and should be ok with a cat. He would benefit from an obedience class, especially for his leash walking skills.

Braden is a 1 year old spayed blue female. She is a big girl who thinks she is a small girl! Braden is very active and needs to learn some manners so she should probably not be with little kids. She is good with other dogs and is house and crate trained. Braden would love to go to training to learn how to walk on a leash and not jump around!

Beau is a nice senior Weim/Lab mix. Don't let the gray hair fool you! For 12 years old, Beau gets around just fine. He would prefer not to have too many stairs to go up, but he can handle a few with no problem! He doesn't seem to have a problem getting on the furniture! Beau is a sweet, nice boy. He loves soft blankets, bones and stuffed toys. He is fine with the other dogs and has lived with cats. Beau would love to have a person to follow around and give him treats!

Princess is a 3-4 year old SharPei who thinks she is a Weimaraner! That probably comes from living with so many of them. Princess is spayed, house and crate trained, good with other dogs and bigger kids. Once she warms up to you, she will be your buddy for life! She is well trained and knows alot of commands.

Frankie is a nice, neutered 3 year old male. He is pretty well behaved and is house and crate trained. But he doesn't really need a crate, he is so smart he rings a bell when he needs to go out! Frankie likes other dogs and is good on a leash and knows some commands. He would love to be a couch dog and hang out with you. He would probably chase a ball if there were something in it for him!

Ginger is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and is a really nice girl. She knows some commands and is very loyal. She gets along with the other dogs, but would prefer to be an only dog so she can have all the attention she deserves! Ginger really wants to please. She knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash.

Zeus is a 5 month old neutered male "Weimador". His mom is a blue weim and his dad a black lab. Zeus is working on his house and crate training and knows how to sit and comes when called. Zeus is a pistol, but he is a puppy and is pretty exhuberant. He will need to go to obedience school.

Bruce is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a sweet boy. He is crate and house trained and is good with other dogs and kids. Bruce is well behaved but can be protective of his family if he is overwhelmed by alot of new people at one time in the house. Outside he is fine with new people. Bruce would do well in a faily calm household without too much commotion. NO CATS!

Elvis 2 is a nice 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He is a big boy but has good manners. He is crate and house trained and likes other dogs and kids. Elvis 2 is good on a leash and listens well.

Max is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a very big boy, but gentle enough to be around 4 kids and a small dog. He is house and crate trained and walks very well on a leash. Max has been obedience trained and is well behaved.

Satin is a 3 year old spayed female. She is pretty fat, but is a very sweet girl who LOVES kids. She is good with other dogs and should be ok with cats. Satin knows basic commands and is crate and house trained. She is pretty good on a leash, which is good since all the walks are helping with her weight! Satin loves to carry around stuffed animals and is a pretty happy gal!

Dennis is a 5 year old neutered male. He is a nice, sweet, laid back guy. Dennis is crate and house trained, knows alot of commands, is good on a leash and loves to ride in the car. He loves other dogs and kids and should be fine with cats. Dennis has a limp from a plate in his arm. Apparently he had a previous break. It doesn't bother him and he can run and play just fine!

Haddon is a 5 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, but doesn't need a crate. He is good with other dogs and kids and is curious about cats but doesn't bother them. Haddon loves to ride in the car and can swim. He knows alot of commands and is pretty good on a leash. Haddon is protective of his family, so really small kids may not be a good idea.

Allie is a 1 year old spayed blue female. She is house and crate trained and is very energetic. She is good with other dogs and kids, but small kids might not be a good idea until she learns some manners. Allie will need to go to obedience classes and learn to walk on a leash.

Josh is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate trained and good with other dogs. Josh needs to learn some obedience skills and work on his leash walking. He is pretty energetic. Josh has been around kids.

Emily is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She is pretty active and would benefit from obedience classes. Emily is crate trained and has been around kids. She needs some work on her leash skills but is a sweet girl.

Morgan is a 2 year old "Weimador", weimaraner/lab mix. she has a nice brownish black coat and a tail. Morgan is spayed and is good with other dogs and kids. She is house and crate trained. She is very shy right now, but has improved everyday. You see, Morgan was literally put out with the trash by her former family, she was found tied to the trash can at the curb. Luckily, Morgan is a sweet girl who loves to be petted once she warms up to you. She is not letting her former life get her down and is looking forward to a new family that really wants her.

Boomer is a 5 month old neutered "Weimador". His mom was a gray Weim and 4 of his silbings were gray and 2 chocolate! Since he was born at the shelter, he has a tail. Boomer likes other dogs, kids and should be fine with cats. He is crate trained and pretty well housetrained. He knows how to sit and is working on his leash skills. Boomer had a skin condition which has cleared up nicely and is growing fun back on his face. He has very soft fur. Boomer is a sweet boy and would love someone to take him to obedience school so he can learn new things and meet new friends!

Annie KY is a 2-3 year old spayed female. She is a big girl and very active! Annie is crate and house trained, gets along with other dogs and would probably knock down small children. She needs some obedience training and leash work. She would probably be a good agility dog with training!
UPDATE: Annie is doing really well in her new foster home. She is very affectionate and loves to play with toys! She is learning basic obedience and is walking on a Gentle Leader now. Annie gets along great with her new dog friends and loves to give them kisses.

Otto is a 20 month old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and is good with kids other dogs and has lived with a cat! Otto loves to ride in the car and play ball. He is good on a leash and knows some commands.

Larry is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good with other dogs and kids. I don't know if he has met a cat, but he is pretty mild mannered. Larry knows some commands and needs some work on the leash.

Lizzie is a 4 month old spayed female English Pointer. She is a real cutie and is crate and house trained. She is already pointing in the yard!

Ashley is an 11 month old Vizsla/Weim mix. She is about 40 pounds. Ashley is crate and house trained and loves to play with other dogs. She likes kids and is pretty energetic. Ashley would like to go to school to learn about walking on a leash and basic commands.

Mari is a 10 month old spayed female "Weimador", a weim/lab mix. Mari is house and crate trained and a very active girl! She loves other dogs and kids and wants to go to obedience school to learn to be a good girl. Mari says she will be top in her class because she is trying to follow the rules and wants to be a good listener!

Toby is a sweet, 2 year old neutered male. He has a weird foot from an untreated injury but it doesn't bother him and he gets around just fine. Toby is pretty calm and knows some commands. He is crate and housetrained and just wants to love you! He is great with other dogs and kids.

Willie is a 14 month old neutered longahaired Weim. He is very fluffy and has a pretty feathery tail. He is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids. He does like to jump up so he needs to learn not to do this! Willie knows some commands and is ok on a leash. He likes to play with the other dogs and toys. Willie would benefit from some obedience training.

Bert is an 8 month old neutered Walker hound mix. (Psst, don't tell him he is not a Weimaraner!) He is crate trained and so far good in the house. He likes other dogs and kids. He is pretty mild mannered so he should be ok with cats. Bert would like his new family to take him obedience school so he can learn how to do stuff, like walk on a leash and come when called. He is pretty quiet for a hound.

Chop is a nice neutered Lab/Weim mix boy. He is neutered, house and crate trained and has been through extensive obedience training. He is a smaller guy. Chop likes other dogs and kids, but would do best as an only dog and with bigger kids. He is a sweet boy and really needs some one on one attention.

Anna is a 3 year old spayed female. She is very overweight but we are working on that. Anna likes other dogs once she gets used to them, and kids. She is crate and housetrained and knows a few commands. She is very sweet and came into rescue when her owner died unexpectedly. Anna knows how to use a doggie door.

Echo is a 2 year old neutered male. He arrived with his friend Godiva and would like to go to a new home with her if he can. Echo is crate and house trained, good with other dogs and kids and listens well.

Dutchess is an 8 year old spayed female. She is a sweet dog and is good in the house and crate. She is fine with other dogs unless they mess with her toys. She is a bigger girl, so bigger kids would probably be best. Dutchess likes to get on furniture but she will share the couch with you. We don't know if Dutchess has ever met a cat.

MaryKate is an 11 month old Vizsla/Weim mix. She is a smaller girl, about 30 pounds. She is crate trained and is working on her house training. She loves other dogs and kids and could use some obedience training. But she is very smart and will learn quickly!

Bailey is an 18 month old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and kids and is crate and housetrained. Bailey knows some commands and likes to ride in the car. He needs work on his leash manners but promises to be a fast learner!

Haze is a 3-4 year old neutered male. He is a smaller guy, about 70 pounds. He is a little thin right now. Haze is crate and house trained and likes other dogs and kids. He is listening well and could use some leash work. He would like his new owners to take him to obedience school so he can show them how smart he is! He is a sweet, loving boy.

Bree is a 3-4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and gets along great with other dogs and kids. She is very well behaved and hasn't barked yet. Bree knows how to use the doggie door and loves to lie in the sun. Bree is very special. She recently lost her rear leg when she got caught in a trap. She has no problem getting around and doing normal dog stuff. Bree adapted very quickly to only having three legs and has not let it bother her at all. So far, there is nothing she can't do!

Nemo is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and is a nice boy. He knows some commands and is eagar to please. Nemo is good with the other dogs and should be fine with kids. I don't know if he has met any cats. Nemo would love to go to obedience school so he can show you what a fast learner he is and learn to walk nicely on a leash.

Gracie is a 3 year old spayed blue girl. She is crate and house trained and is good with other dogs and kids. Gracie knows a bunch of commands and is ok on a leash. She listens well and wants to be a good girl. She loves to play in the yard chasing a ball.

Minnie is a 2 year old spayed female. She has just finished her heartworm treatment and will be ready to go in about a week. She is crate and housetrained, good with other dogs and kids and should be fine with cats. Minnie is a small girl, about 50 pounds. She knows some commands and would like to go to obedience school to learn some more!

Dilbert is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a sweet boy, but tries to be dominant over other dogs so he will need to learn he is not in charge. He is house and crate trained and gets along fine with other dogs and kids. He is pretty exhuberant so he will need alot of exercise. Dilbert loves soft toys and balls. He knows a couple of commands and could use some leash work so he doesn't drag you everywhere.

Dixie is a 3 year old spayed female. She is a very sweet girl. She likes car rides and being with her people. Dixie is good with other dogs, kids and cats. She is house and crate trained, but can be a barker when left alone, so no townhouses! Dixie is pretty well behaved.

Leeba is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and pretty well behaved. She loves kids and has decided that she would prefer to be the only dog. She is good with other dogs outside, but in the house she gets jealous if another dog is getting attention. She has not met a cat. Leeba is good on a Gentle Leader and loves to swim and play frisbee and ball. She knows a bunch of commands.

Jeb is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is a big boy. He gets along fine with other dogs and loves kids. I don't know if he has met any cats. Jeb knows how to do a few things and is ok on a leash. He likes to play with toys and chase balls.

Shamie is a 5 year old spayed female. She is good with other dogs and kids. Shamie is crate and house trained, but she has separation anxiety and needs someone who is home all the time or has a few other dogs for companionship. Shamie is very sweet and loving and well behaved. She is good on a leash and knows alot of commands. Shamie would like a special home that understands her needs.

JoJo is a 2-3 year old neutered male. He is crate trained and so far, good in the house. He is pretty rambunctious and could use some training, but he is listening pretty well. He is fine with the other dogs and would probably run down small kids, so bigger kids are better for him.

Stanley is a nice 7 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is good with kids and other dogs. He has met cats and is curious about them but he has never gone after one. Stanley knows a bunch of commands and is pretty good ona Gentle Leader. He loves to go on walks and hang out with his people.

Sandy is a 3 year old spayed female. She is a little overweight but is doing well on her new diet. She is house and crate trained and has lived with kids. She loves the other dogs. Sandy knows basic commands and isn't too bad on a leash. We don't know if Sandy has been around cats, but she is ok with little dogs. Sandy is in Virginia Beach.

Joey is not a Weim. He is an English Pointer and is about a year old. He is neutered and seems to be house and crate trained. He is a small guy and a sweetie. He loves to be petted. He is good with other dogs and seems to like kids. He loves playing with the toys in the yard. He is a little submissive when he is on a leash but he may just not be used to it. Joey knows how to sit and is willing to learn other commands. He is also very birdy! What a cute guy!

Fidel is a very nice 4 year old neutered male. He is a big guy who is currently on a diet! Fidel is house and crate trained, good on and off a leash and is very well behaved. He likes everyone, dogs, cats and kids and is very laid back. It is perfectly fine with Fidel if someone else is in charge! Fidel has never been swimming, but he likes to chase balls.

Salem is a 3 year old neutered male. He likes to swim and chase balls. You will need a Chuk-It to throw them far enough for him, he is really fast! He is house and crate trained but doesn't crate well unless there are other dogs with him. But he is fine in the house. He is good with other dogs and kids and has not had much cat experience. Salem is pretty well trained and is good on leash and listens well off leash.

Jessie is a very sweet, 6 year old spayed female. She LOVES people and is good with other dogs and has lived with cats and kids. Jessie knows some commands, is crate and house trained. She needs some leash work but should catch on quickly because she justs wants to be with you. She was tied outside at her old house when no one was home, she craves people attention and wants you to go outside with her.

Jipsy is a 2 year old spayed female albino Weimaraner. She is white with blue eyes. Jipsy is crate and house trained and is good with other dogs (she plays noisily!) and kids. Jipsy likes to ride in the car. She is a smaller girl and will need some special care to protect her skin and eyes.

Peyton is a 2 year old neutered blue male. He is a tall boy and is crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids. Peyton has not met a cat. He knows some commands and likes to play ball.

Skylar is a 3 year old female. She will be spayed next week. Skylar knows some commands but could use work on a leash. She listens well and is easily trained. Skylar likes other dogs and hasn't had any exposure to small kids or cats that I know of. She goes right in the crate and is good in the house.

Samson is a 4 year old neutered male. He is crate trained but is ok loose in in the house unless there are cats around! No cats for Samson. He is good with other dogs and kids. Sam knows some commands and is ok on a leash. He is a nice big boy!

Weimador puppies! 1 male and 3 female Weimador puppies are 11 weeks old. They have docked tails. Thier mom is a blue weim, dad a black lab. They are very cute but quite a handful! Puppies need alot of patience and training. They are running, tearing up stuff, biting with sharp teeth little heathens!

Max is a 19 month old neutered male. He is good with other dogs, cats and kids. Max is crate and house trained. He knows a few commands and needs some work on a leash. Of course, he is very active!

Abby is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and is good with other dogs and kids. She hasn't met a cat yet. Abby likes to swim and ride in the car. She knows lots of commands and can ring a bell to go outside. Abby likes to sleep covered with her blanket!

Dixie Belle is an 8 month old spayed female. She is mostly housetrained and is crate trained. Dixie likes other dogs and kids and should be ok with cats. She is going to be a small girl. Dixie is pretty good on a leash and knows some commands. She loves to play with rope toys.

Kermit is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a big, tall guy and very sweet. Kermit is house and crate trained and likes stuffed toys. He is good with other dogs but would prefer to be with a female dog. Kermit is ok on a leash and knows some commands. He would benefit from an obedience class. Kermit is a bit mouthy so no little kids. We are working on this. He just wants a person to love and rub against! Kermit would be a very faithful boy.

Jake is a wonderful, well behaved 10 year old blue male. He is neutered. He is crate trained (but doesn't need a crate) and is perfectly behaved in the house. He loves to lie in the grass and is perfectly happy to just follow you around. He is great on a leash and in the car. He gets along with everyone, people, kids, dogs and cats and is just a sweet boy to have around.

Remy is a 7 month old neutered Weimador. His mom was a weim, dad a lab! Remy has a docked tail and is a big boy but very gentle and alot of fun. He is crate and house trained, not bad on a leash and is good with other dogs (he wants to play!) and kids. He would probably be fine with cats.

Ronda is an 8 month old spayed "Corgidor". I think she is a lab/corgi mix. She is no where close to a weim, but she was on her way down "that hallway" when a nice lady saved her and of course, I couldn't resist! Ronda is small, has short legs and a great personality. She is crate trained and seems to be housetrained. She likes other dogs and kids. She would probably be fine with cats. So far, she is listening well and seems like she will learn fast.

Murray is a 12 month old "Weimador". He is a small guy and is neutered, crate trained and seems to be house trained. He likes other dogs and should be fine with kids and cats. Murray thinks it is really cool to have a blanket in his crate and has been running around picking up all the dog bones. He will need some training but seems like a smart guy who is eager to please.

Fritz is a 3 year old neutered male. He is HUGE, 140 pounds, the biggest one I have ever seen. Fritz is now on a diet and exercise plan. Despite being so overweight, Fritz is a very nice boy. He listens well, knows some commands and is crate and house trained. He is well behaved in the house so he really doesn't need a crate. He is good with other dogs and kids and he loves riding in the car. Fritz has never met a cat.

Marla is a 2 year old spayed female. She listens well, likes other dogs and is crate and house trained. Marla is a pretty active girl and could probably knock down small kids. She is pretty good on a leash and knows a few commands.

Sully is a 5 year old neutered male. He is a very nice boy, quiet and well behaved. He is crate trained but doesn't really need one, listens well and is good with other dogs and kids. Sully likes tennis balls and toys and soft couches.

Logan is a 4 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is a very good boy. He is good with kids and other dogs. He listens well and loves to play with tennis balls and is pretty good on a leash. Logan has a wrinkly ear from a hematoma that was not treated. He is fine now, just has a funny looking ear!

Merlin is a blue,1.5 year old neutered male. He is a big guy and he has a tail! He could be mixed with a lab, but he has a weim personality and alot of weim features. Merlin is a happy guy, loves to play and is good with other dogs and kids. He is crate and house trained and knows a few commands.

Wayne is a 3 year old neutered male. He is a nice boy, listens well and is house and crate trained. He is good with the other dogs and seems to like kids. He walks ok on a leash and loves tennis balls. He likes to ride in the car.

Emmett is a 2-3 year old neutered male. He is quiet and well behaved. Emmett is crate trained and gets along fine with the other dogs. He would probably be fine with bigger kids. Emmett listens well and is pretty good on a leash. He is a sweet boy.

Ceasar is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a happy guy now that his former life is behind him! Ceasar is thin but gaining weight and is good in a crate and the house. He is very sweet and listens well. He is fine with the other dogs and should be ok with kids. He has picked up every tennis ball in the yard and brought them to his crate.

Amadeus is a 2 1/2 year old neutered blue boy. He is a tall guy and he loves to run and play. He is good with other dogs and bigger kids and will chase cats. He is well trained and very loving. He knows a bunch of commands and is good on a leash.

Sadie Gray is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house trained and I was told she wouldn't crate, but so far she is doing fine in a crate, but there are other dogs around her. She walks well on a gentle leader and knows some commands. Sadie likes kids and other dogs and has not met a cat, but lived with ferrets.

Willie is a 2 year old neutered blue male. He is crate trained, pretty good in the house, likes other dogs and kids. He met a cat through the fence and didn't go completly berserk, just kind of watched. Willie knows sit and down, is pretty good on a leash and comes when you call him. An obedience class would do wonders for Willie, he really wants to learn.

Scout is a 4 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and with cats! Scout is not good around small children, they make him nervous, so no kids. He is crate and house trained and knows alot of commands. Scout likes to play in the water and is good on a leash. He loves to snuggle and is invisible fence trained. Scout is in Manassas.

Sadie is a pretty spayed blue female. She is 2 1/2. Sadie is VERY shy and is warming up to me. She loves the other dogs and would probably be ok with cats. She is house and crate trained and ok on a leash. She knows a few commands. Sadie was not a city dog, she is scared of loud noises. She is getting better, but needs a patient, understanding owner. Sadie is in Manassas.

Savannah is a spayed 2 1/2 year old female. She is house and crate trained, walks well on a Gentle Leader and is Invisible Fence trained. She is very good with kids, likes other dogs and chases cats! Savannah loves to swim, fetch and ride in the car. She is a nice girl who really enjoys being with her people. Savannah is in Woodbridge, VA.

Gracie 2 is a 6 year old spayed female. She is a sweet girl who had to leave when the inlaws moved in because they don't like dogs. She is house and crate trained, good on a leash and well trained. She likes kids and other dogs.

Jasper is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, good with other dogs and kids that he can't knock over. He has a high prey drive, so no cats. Jasper loves to play ball and chase birds. He is good on a leash and is currently working on his obedience skills.

Sophie is a 4 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained and good with other dogs and kids. She listens well and is good on a leash. Sophie likes to collect things around the house and put them in her crate.

Duke is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a sweet boy. Duke is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids and is pretty laid back. He knows some commands and is not too bad on a leash.

Annie is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, good with other dogs, kids and cats. Annie knows a few commands and could use some leash work. She came in with her mother, who has been adopted, so she would like to go to a home with another dog. She is a fairly quiet girl.

Shadow is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, loves other dogs and kids and hasn't met a cat. He likes to ride in the car, run and play in the water. He knows some commands and is good on a leash. Shadow is worried about vaccum cleaners!

Sammy is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a nice, sweet boy. He is pretty laid back and is good with other dogs and kids. Sammy is crate and house trained, ok on a leash and knows some commands. He likes to play outside and chase balls.

Lilly is a 9 month old spayed female. She is going to be a small girl (40 pounds) and has a dislocated knee that doesn't bother her or her activity level! Lilly is house and crated trained, pretty good on a leash and LOVES to play! She knows a few commands and could use more obedience training. Lilly has a HIGH activity level and is always on the go so she will need a patient and active home. She loves other dogs and kids and hasn't met a cat.

Auris is a nice 7 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs, crate and house trained. He has good manners, walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car. Auris is a great ball player and loves swimming. He is good loose in the house. Auris needs a home without kids. Auris is invisible fence trained.

Chloe is an 11 month old spayed female. She is full of energy! Chloe is house and crate trained and likes other dogs and has lived with kids. She likes to play with a tennis ball and run around with other dogs. Chloe will need some obedience training to learn not to jump and walk better on a leash.

Riley is a 1 year old spayed female "Weimador". (weim/lab mix) She is a pretty chocolate color and has a tail. Riley has lived with kids and other dogs and is good with cats. She is a sweet girl. Riley knows some commands but needs some work on her jumping up and listening a little better. She is pretty good on a leash.

Lucky is a very nice, sweet 12 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and likes everyone, cats included! He is well behaved and obedience trained. He would like a home that doesn't have too many steps and people to follow around.

West is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and full of energy! He knows some commands and is good with other dogs and kids. He loves to run, is pretty good on a leash and likes to ride in the car. West would like to go to an obedience class so he can brush up on his skills.

Josie is a spayed blue female, about a year old. She is crate trained and is working on her housetraining. She loves kids, is good with other dogs and good on a leash. She knows a few commands and would do well with an obedience class. Josie will need a fenced yard.

Max is a 10 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, good with other dogs and kids. He loves to run and hunt and will need a fenced yard. He is an exhuberant, active boy. Max knows a few commands and would benefit from obedience training.

Pride is a pretty, neutered blue boy. He is 4 years old and is crate trained and good in the house. He gets along great with other dogs and kids. He is very sweet and listens well. He is pretty good on a leash.and likes to ride in the car.

Gabby is a 4 year old spayed female. She is a wonderful, well behaved girl. She is crate and house trained, but doesn't really need a crate. She listens well, is good on and off leash. Gabby can be aggressive towards other dogs who are approaching her when she is on a leash. She is a very sweet, loving girl.

Max is an 8 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained. He is also invisible fence trained but has not been respecting the fence lately, so he will need a real fence. Max likes kids, other dogs and cats. He also likes swimming and riding in the car. He is a big, sweet boy.

Gunter is a 6 year old neutered male. He is house trained, good on a leash and listens well. He likes to ride in the car and is Invisible Fence trained. Gunter can be dominant over smaller dogs and kids, so a being an only dog with no kids would be ideal for him.

Gus is a nice well trained 6 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids. He will chase a cat outside. He loves to swim and ride in the car. Gus knows alot of commands and is a real sweetie.

Shamie is a 4 year old spayed female. She is good with other dogs and kids, don't think she has met a cat. She is house trained and hasn't been in a crate much. Shamie knows a few commands but could use an obedience refresher, especially for leash walking and jumping up. Shamie's owner recently died and she is sad.

Remy is a 4 year old neutered longhaired male. His tail is docked. Remy gets along with other dog and kids, but NOT CATS. He is pretty well mannered and good on a leash. He obviously likes soccer!

Pogo is a 19 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained. Pogo likes kids and other dogs. He will probably not be good with cats. He knows some commands and could use some leash traiining and obedience reinforcement. He is a fast learner, he just needs someone consistent to work with him. He loves swimming and is good in the car.

Elvis is a 5 year old neutered male who is good with other dogs and kids, crate and housebroken and has good manners.

Molly is a 2 year old spayed blue girl. She is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids and listens well.

Cooper 2 is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a good boy, likes kids and other dogs, is crate and house trained and knows commands.

Rip is a nice 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is pretty well trained, crate and house trained, good with other dogs and kids.

Samantha is a nice 10 year old spayed female. She is on the smaller side and is quite active. She likes to swim, run and play ball. Samantha is crate and house trained and loves kids and gets along great with other dogs. She listens well and has alot left to give to a loving family. She is also perfectly happy to sit next to you on the couch!

Lilly is a 2 year old spayed female. She is a sweet girl who had a rough start in life. She is good with other dogs and kids, crate and house trained and has good manners.

Josie is a 3 year old spayed blue female. She is not crate trained, but is good in the house, loves riding in the car and likes kids and other dogs. She is a real sweetie.

Jack is a 2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and knows some commands. He is good with other dogs unless there is food around. Because of this, he should probably be with older kids. I haven't had any problems with him with food, bones or toys here.

Daisy is a 2 year old female. She will be spayed before placement. Daisy is a little afraid of men and takes a day or so to get settled in new surroundings. She is crate trained, good on a leash and knows some commands. She is good with other dogs and bigger kids, over about age 10. She loves to ride in the car and lie under your feet.

Shelly is a 1 year ols spayed female. She is crate and house trained and very energetic! She loves to chase balls and destuff the toys! She knows some commands but needs to learn to do them longer than 3 seconds. Shelly is good on a leash and comes when called. She like other dogs and kids, but might knock over small kids by accident.

Asher is a sweet 3 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. Asher is good with other dogs and kids and is crate and house trained. He is working on his manners and would really love to have a home where someone is around all the time.

Suede is a big 3 year old neutered male. He likes kids and other dogs. He is house and crate trained and good on a leash. Suede has good house manners but can climb a 4' fence so he will need a taller fence or an Invisible Fence.

Sadie is am almost 3 year old spayed female. She is pretty fat, but will lose weight quickly on her new diet and exercise plan. She is crate and house trained, listens well, likes kids and other dogs. Sadie loves riding in the car and playing fetch.

Lucy is a 16 month old spayed female. She listens pretty well and wants to play, play, play! She is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids. Lucy is pretty good on a leash and comes when called off leash.

Cindy is a 1-2 year old spayed female. She is quite a clown and needs to learn some manners. She sits and downs, but only for about 2 seconds. (It was really hard to get a good picture of her, but she is very pretty.) Cindy is crate trained, good in the house and loves to play. She likes other dogs but may be a little rambunctious for small kids til she gets the obedeince thing down pat.

Weimador puppies-Rain had 8 Weim/Lab mix puppies, who are now 8 weeks old. They are very cute and will have nice weim fur and features. They are chocolate and black, no grays!

Godiva is a 6 year old black lab who came with her pal, Echo. She is spayed, good with kids and other dogs, house and crate trained and very sweet. She would like to be placed with Echo.

Waylon is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is good with kids and pretty good with other dogs. He is house and crate trained and is learning some new skills.

Lightning is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, likes kids and other dogs and listens pretty well.

Cooper is a 2 year old neutered male. He is a very sweet dog and is well behaved. He is house and crate trained, likes kids and other dogs and food! Cooper is overweight but on a new diet and exercise plan.

Shadow is a 4 year old spayed female "Weimador" Her mom was a weim, her dad was a yellow lab. She loves kids and other dogs and has not been around many cats. Shadow loves to swim, chase balls and run. She is very well behaved and would easily pass her Canine Good Citizen and Therapy dog tests. She has already been to visit at nursing homes.Shadow is a pretty chocolate color with soft fur and a docked tail.

Sonny is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a small boy, about 55 pounds. Sonny has learned to play well with other dogs and he likes kids. He hasn't met a cat. He listens pretty well, is good on a leash and knows some commands. Sonny loves to be outside and is a great ball chaser, although he doesn't always give it back to you!

Refund is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate trained and is good in the house. He gets along well with other dogs, kids and cats. Refund knows some commands and is a very sweet boy.

Molly is a 15 month old spayed female. She is crate and house trained. Molly gets along well with other dogs and kids. Molly could use some obedience training since she jumps all over the place and plays rough. She likes to swim, fetch and walks well on a leash with a prong collar.

Winnie is a 2 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained, but will get in to stuff if you aren't watching! Winnie gets along well with other dogs and knows a few commands. She likes kids but can be a little intimidated by too much commotion. She is getting better with that. Winnie needs some work on leash walking but is a very sweet girl who just wants to be with someone.

Harry is a 2 year old neutered male. He likes other dogs and kids and hasn't met a cat. He is pretty good natured and well behaved and is house trained. He knows alot of commands and is pretty good on a leash. Harry will need a 6' fence since he is a jumper. He is doing well on the Invisible Fence here. Harry is crate trained, but would prefer not to be in there.

Pete is a big 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and gets along with other dogs and kids. He would prefer to be an only dog, though. He walks well on a leash and knows some commands.

Grayson is a 6 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained but hasn't been in a crate in years. She is good with other dogs and kids, including toddlers. Grayson loves to swim and play ball, rides wellin a car and is pretty good on a leash.

Duke is a neutered male English Pointer. He is about 12-18 months old. Duke was found abandoned in a park. He is well behaved, knows commands and is good on a leash. He gets along well with other dogs and kids. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle. No cats for Duke! Duke is not crate trained but does ok confined to one room. He is high energy and needs lots of exercise.

Sage is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a small boy and is doing well with the other dogs although he is used to being an only dog. He likes kids and hasn't met a cat. Sage knows some commands and is crate and house trained. Sage is good on a leash and loves to play ball. He is also Invisible Fence trained.

Lissy is a 5 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, but is fine out of the crate. Lissy is good with kids and other big dogs. She has a strong prey drive, so no cats or small dogs for Lissy! She knows a bunch of commands and is pretty good on a leash. Lissy is a smallish girl and very sweet.

Cayman is a 4 year old spayed female weim with dobie markings. She is good with kids, is house trained and knows some commands. Cayman has a strong prey drive, so no cats or small dogs. She is good on a leash with a prong collar, loves to play and is trained on a dog door.

Abby is a 6 month old spayed female. She is crate and housetrained and is working on her manners. She will need more training since she jumps up and doesn't listen well. Abby loves other dogs and kids and has lived with cats. (The cats weren't real thrilled since she wanted to play with them) She needs work on her leash walking and she steals things off the counters!

Slade is an 8 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and is learning some manners at his foster home. He is good with other dogs and cats and he likes kids. Once he learns to not jump up so much he will be ok with smaller kids. He will probably be a smaller boy when he grows up.

Dakota is a 6 month old blue male. He will be neutered before placement. He is house and crate trained. He is good with kids and loves other dogs. He is young enough that he is probably ok with cats. He is pretty rambunctious and jumps up, so he will probably knock down small kids. Dakota knows a couple of commands but needs to go to school to remember to do them!

Lilly is a 6 year old spayed female. She prefers to be the only dog and does not crate. She likes kids and has not met any cats. Lilly is good on a leash and likes to snuggle. Her ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and won't confine her to one room when they are gone.

Anna is a 3-4 year old spayed female. She is recovering from a skin condition and is doing nicely. Anna is very friendly, well behaved and likes other dogs and kids. She is pretty good on a leash and has nice house manners.

Coltrane is a big, neutered 4 year old male. He is currently on a diet and getting lots of exercise to lose weight. He is loves other dogs and kids. Coltrane is excited around cats but hasn't hurt one, he just wants to play! He is good on and off leash and knows a bunch of commands. His foster dad says he is a really nice dog!

Cowboy is a 6 year old neutered male. He is crate and housetrained, knows obedience commands and is well behaved. He is good with all age kids and other dogs, but not cats! Cowboy loves to run and play outside and will make a great companion!

Bonno is a 1 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, is good with kids and other dogs and has never met a cat. He likes to retrieve balls and swim. He need some practice on a leash and he bounces up and down like a kangaroo without touching you!

Lady is a 6 year old spayed blue female. She is crate and housetrained, very well behaved and is good on a leash. She likes other dogs and cats. Lady is nervous around infants and crawling babies but is fine with bigger kids. She is a small girl, about 55 pounds and is very sweet.

Logan is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house trained, but does not crate. He likes other dogs and kids and has not met a cat. Logan knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash.

These 2 Black Lab boy pups were found on the side of the road. One of the foster moms picked them up. They are about 5 weeks old and will be ready for new homes around Feb.8. Aren't they cute? They could be blue weims with tails just disguised as labs!

Reagan is a 4 year old spayed female. She is good with other dogs and kids, but unfortunatly her kid has allergies to her. Reagan has met cats without much reaction, but hasn't lived with one. She is good on a leash, is crate and house trained and knows some commands. Reagan has had some seizures but is under control with medication, which is inexpensive.

Big Shadow is a big sweetie. He is 4, neutered and pretty fat! He is on a diet and is getting regular exercise here. He is crate and house trained, well behaved, like other dogs and kids. He may have lived with a cat in his previous home. Shadow is good on a leash and knows some commands. He is a very happy dog and quite gentle.

Holly is a 2 year old female. Holly is crate and house trained and likes other dogs and kids. She sits and comes when called. She loves to play in the yard with the other dogs.

Candy is not a Weim, but don't tell her! She is a sweet 1 1/2 year old spayed female Walker Hound. She is house and crate trained, loves other dogs and kids, would probably be fine with cats. She is good on a leash and is learning some commands, but listens well. Candy loves to play and is a really sweet girl. Her transport never arrived for her and she would have been sent back to an awful place where she had no chance, so I took her.

Gray is really blue. He is about 2 years old, neutered, crate and house trained. He likes kids and other dogs and loves to play. He listens well and is pretty good on a leash. (Gray is the one who talked me into bringing Candy the hound back; they are great pals!)

Shadow is a nice, sweet, spayed blue female. She is 2 1/2. Shadow is good with other dogs and likes kids. She has not met any cats. She is good on a leash, knows a bunch of commands and is doggie door trained. Shadow can climb a 4' chain link fence and did that at her old house when people were coming by to greet them. (She hasn't done it here) Shadow has a tail.

Sable is a 4 year old spayed blue female. She is good with kids and other dogs and hasn't been around cats. Sable loves to fetch and knows some commands and hand signals. She is good on a leash.

Danni is a 10 month old spayed female. She is full of herself and very active. She gets along fine with other dogs, but plays rough. No small kids until she learns some manners. Blue is crate and house trained and pretty good on a leash.

Gunther is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and is good with other dogs and kids. He hasn't met any cats. He doesn't actually swim, but likes to play in the water and loves to go hiking. Gunther is good on a leash and knows basic commands. His owner is being transferred out of the country.

Sadie is a 6 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, good on a leash and likes other dogs and older kids. Sadie loves to run and play with a tennis ball. Little kids running up to her scare her.

Willow is a 3 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained and has not met any small children. She seems to be an alpha female and would do best as an only dog or with a male. She is good on a leash and knows some commands.

Zen is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, loves kids, is good with other dogs and has lived with cats. Zen knows alot of commands and walks well on a leash. He is a smaller male and is much prettier than his picture!

Trixie is a 1 year old spayed female. She loves to play, is house and crate trained and pretty good on a leash. Trixie is great with other dogs and kids. She loves to snuggle and follow you around.

Toot is a 5 year old spayed female. She is smaller but full of energy! She is house and crate trained, walks well on a leash and is good with other dogs and kids over 5 years old. Toot loves to play with a ball and listens well off leash.

Phantom is a 4 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, good with kids and other dogs and hasn't met any cats. Phantom is good on a leash and loves to play outside.

Greta is a 4 year old spayed female. She is a big girl and is house and crate trained. Greta walks well on a leash but is protective of her family when strangers approach. Greta gets along fine with other dogs and bigger kids. She loves to play in the yard with her toys and can entertain herself!

Blue is a 2 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. He is house and crate trained, gets along well with other dogs, even small breeds and likes kids. Blue travels well in the car, is good on a leash and knows some commands. He is a typical weim who wants to be where you are and is full of energy and affection. He would love to have an active owner.

Shadow is a 4 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. Shadow is crate and house trained, good with other dogs, kids and cats and walks well on a leash. We just found out Shadow has diabetes, but it is manageable with insulin (which is pretty inexpensive) and diet. One of mine has diabetes and he is very healthy and it hasn't changed the typical weim behavior at all!

Shantina is a 2 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained, good on a leash and gets along with other dogs, kids and cats. She loves to play and run.

Franklin is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained (he needs some reinforcement) and gets along well with other dogs and little kids. He walks well on a leash and has not met any cats. His favorite activity is sitting on the couch! Franklin knows some commands.

Jenna is a 2 year old spayed female. She is severely overweight and is very affectionate and loves to be rubbed. She is crate and house trained, gets along with other dogs and kids and is pretty good on a leash. She has a natural tail.

Helen is a 9 year old spayed female. She is a retired show and field dog. Helen is good with kids and has lived with a cat and another weim in the house. She has a high prey drive so she is leash aggresive outside with other dogs. Helen is also obedience trained and is a therapy dog. She will make a wonderful companion for someone who is home alot.

Camden is a 6 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and has just finished "boot camp" obedience training. He is good with other dogs, loves kids, walks well on a leash. Not sure about cats. Camden comes with a free obedience class with his trainer.

Bailey is a 4 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and kids and has not met any cats. Bailey is house and crate trained, good on a leash and has pretty good manners. Bailey loves furry squeak toys and lots of attention!

Suede is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and is described by his foster mom as a big lovebug! He listens pretty well, knows how to sit and come when called. He is good with other dogs and kids. Suede loves to roll around in the grass.

Dixie is a 4 year old spayed female. She loves kids and other dogs and is crate and house trained. Dixie has not been around cats but likes to chase squirrels and other critters. She would probably train well for a hunting dog. She is good on a leash and knows a bunch of commands. Dixie loves to swim and is a tennis ball fanatic!

Bailey is a 4 year old spayed female. She likes bigger kids and is good with other dogs and cats. Bailey is crate and house trained, walks well on a leash and knows some commands. She loves to run and fetch and will bring you the newspaper if you ask!

Tex is a 6 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, good with kids and other dogs and hasn't met a cat. Tex loves to swim and is Invisible Fence trained. He is a very sweet boy.

Tess is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, good on a leash and likes other dogs and kids. Tess hasn't met any cats. She loves to swim and is Invisible Fence trained.

Ollie is a 2 year old spayed female. She likes kids and other dogs, but not cats! Ollie is crate and house trained, knows some commands and loves to run. Ollie is working on her leash training and doing very well.

Teddy is a 2-3 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. He is overweight but currently on a diet and exercise plan. He loves other dogs and kids and listens well. Teddy is working on his obedience and is a fast learner. He is pretty good on a leash. Teddy is in Virginia Beach. He has just recieved his Therapy Dog Certification.

Coco is a 7 year old neutered male. He is good with kids and other dogs. Coco is crate and house trained but is well behaved so he doesn't really need a crate. He is good on a leash and knows some commands and listens well. Coco has not met any cats.

Elvis is an 8 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and loves kids and other dogs. No cats for Elvis! He is good on a leash and knows alot of commands. Elvis is very sweet and is happy to lie around on the furniture wherever you are.

Dizzy is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, knows alot of commands, is pretty good on a leash. Dizzy loves kids, is good with other dogs and cats. Dizzy is also Invisible Fence trained.

Regis is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, has good manners, knows a bunch of commands. Regis is good with kids and other dogs and met some cats at the animal shelter and didn't seem too interested in them.

Riddick is a 17 month old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, knows a few commands. Riddick is good with other dogs and kids. He has lived with cats. He needs some work on his leash skills. He is a very sweet boy and will smother you with kisses!

Gandalf is a 9 month old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and knows some commands. He is good with other dogs and kids and hasn't met a cat. Gandalf is pretty good on a leash and tried hard to learn new stuff. He would do best with another dog so that he would stay in the crate since he has some Houdini like escape traits!

Josh is a 6 month old neutered male. He is working on his house and crate training. He is good on a leash and knows how to sit. He likes other dogs and kids and hasn't met any cats but would probably be fine with them.

Gretchen is a 3 year old spayed female who is crate and housetrained. She is used to being an only dog, but gets along ok with other dogs. She occasionally chases the cat but mostly ignores them. Gretchen likes bigger kids but is having trouble with all the commotion of her newly blended family. She prefers a smaller family with less chaos. Gretchen knows alot of commands and is good on a leash and is pretty well behaved.

Duston is a 4 year old neutered male. He is house trained and loves kids and other dogs. He will chase cats. He knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. He loves to play outside with you!

Cody is a 2 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to ride in the car and knows some commands. Cody is good with other dogs and bigger kids. He has not been around cats and noisy small children make him nervous.Cody has a natural tail.

Ceci is a 4 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, is good with other dogs and bigger kids. She is obedience trained and good on a leash. Ceci would like to be an only dog or be with a male dog as she is a dominant female. No cats for Ceci!

Kelly is a pretty 2 year old spayed blue girl. She is crate and house trained and knows a few commands. She is ok on a leash and we are working on that. She gets along great with other dogs, (she loves to play, play, play!) and she likes kids. I don't know if she has met any cats.

Zen is an 18 month old neutered male. He is small for a male. Zen is crate and house trained, likes kids and other dogs and it is unknown if he has met any cats. He knows alot of commands, is pretty good on a leash and listens well. He is a sweet little guy.

Ariel is a small, 18 month old spayed female. She is good with other dogs and kids and hasn't met any cats. She knows some commands, is crate and house trained and is working on her jumping up. She is pretty good on a leash.

Oliver is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained and good on a leash. He likes other dogs but tries to dominate little kids, so bigger kids would be better for him. Oliver is obedience trained and listens pretty well. He is a tennis ball fanatic so he will need to have a "Chuk-It" so your arm doesn't wear out!

Holly is a 2 year old spayed female. She is house trained and pretty well behaved. Holly likes other dogs and older kids but tries to be dominant with smaller kids.

Cascious is an 18 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, likes kids and other dogs and has never been around cats. He is working on his leash walking and is eagar to please. He loves to play in the yard.

Samson is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, listens well, is good off leash and currently lives with a cat, but might chase it to play. Samson likes kids and other dogs, loves riding in the car and playing fetch.

Bastien is a 17 month old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, loves to play with other dogs and kids and has been around cats with no problems. He is pretty good on a leash and listens well. Bastien is a smaller boy, about 60 pounds.

Spooky is a 2 1/2 year old neutered blue male. He is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and loves kids. No cats for Spooky! He is good on a leash and knows alot of commands which he will demonstrate for you if you have a treat!

Nagi is a 5 year old neutered male. He loves kids and is fine with smaller ones, including toddlers. Nagi is great with cats and other dogs. He is crate and house trained and pretty good on a leash. He loves to swim, chase balls and is a great running companion.

Porkchop is a big blue 3 year old neutered male. He was turned in with his twin brother Frotto when his owner died. He is crate and house trained, likes other dogs and bigger kids and is pretty good on a leash. Porkchop would like to go with his brother, but should be fine by himself or with another dog. He thinks he would like a better name as well! Porkchop just started his new diet to lose a few pounds!

Alex is a 3 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, loves other dogs and kids and hasn't met a cat. He knows a bunch of commands and is good on a leash. Alex loves to play with tennis balls, but he is afraid of the vacuum cleaner!

Frotto is Porkchop's twin brother. They were turned in to the shelter when thier owner died. He is a neutered blue male, not as big as his brother. He is house and crate trained, pretty good on a leash and likes to play ball. Frotto likes kids, other dogs and is said to be ok with cats. He likes riding in the car. Frotto would like to be placed with his brother, but should be fine by himself or with andother dog.

Shooter is a 16 month old male. He is not neutered yet. He likes other dogs and has not been around kids or cats. Shooter is house and crate trained and listens well.

Missy is a little 10 month old spayed female. She is pretty quiet and is crate and house trained, likes other dogs and not too rambunctious around kids and probably will be ok with cats with her quiet disposition. Missy has a natural tail.

Rambo is a 1 1/2 year old blue male. He will be neutered this week. He likes other dogs and kids, inknown cats. He is pretty good on a leash, listens well and likes to fetch. He is crate and house trained.

Faerae is a 6 month old spayed female. She likes other dogs and kids. She is house and crate trained and is doing pretty well on her leash training. Faerae knows some commands and is working on others. She loves to play and is pretty energetic. She would love to be with another dog.

Dino is a 1 year old blue male. Dino is a really nice guy and listens well. He is crate and house trained and knows some commands. He could use some leash work.

Kasey is a 17 month old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and a very happy girl. She likes kids and other dogs and is good on and off leash. Kasey is working on her obedience training and is trying very hard. Kasey is overweight, but that is easy to take care of since she loves to run and play!

Toby is an 8 month old neutered male. He is quite a fun guy and has pretty good manners. Toby was not good in a crate but he is fine when he is with other dogs. So, looks like Toby would like to have a brother or sister. He is house trained and pretty good on a leash. He loves kids and is great with other dogs.

Lucy is a 3 year old spayed blue female. She loves kids and other dogs and has not met any cats. She is crate and house trained and good on a leash. Lucy knows basic commands and loves to play outside.

Gracie is a 3 year old spayed blue girl. She is really good on a leash, likes other dogs (preferable males) and kids. She has not met any cats. Gracie is well behaved, crate and house trained. She is pretty overweight but is on a diet and is getting alot more exercise over here.

Haze is a 2 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs, loves kids and was raised with a couple of cats. He is crate and house trained, listens pretty well and knows some commands. Haze is pretty good on a leash.

Hunter is a 2 year old neutered male. He is pretty fat but has lost a few pounds in just two days with us! He is very friendly, likes other dogs and kids and has lived with a cat. Hunter is crate and house trained and is working on a refresher of his manners and leash walking.

Diogi is a 1 year old smaller, neutered male. He is crate and house trained, likes other dogs and kids and hasn't met any cats. He is well trained and knows many commands. He is good on and off leash.

Maggie is a 2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained and loves other dogs and kids and is fine with cats. Maggie is very good on a leash and knows some commands. Maggie is well behaved and just wants to be around her people. Maggie was one of the dogs from the WV puppy mill raid last year. She was emaciated and scared and has blossomed into a really nice girl.

Angelie is a nice, spayed female. She is 3 years old and likes other dogs and kids. Angelie is pretty active for a big girl and still has a few pounds to lose! She knows a few commands and is ok on a leash. She is crate and housetrained but will try to outwit you to stay out of the crate!

Sadie is a 4 year old spayed female. She is housetrained and good in a crate if there is another dog next to her. She loves kids and other dogs and has never met a cat. Sadie listens well and loves to chase whatever you throw.

Bronski is a 4 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. He likes other dogs and kids and is ok with cats, but curious at first. He is house and crate trained but spends most of his time out of the crate as he is pretty well behaved. He knows some commands and could use some leash retraining.

Madeline is a 4 year old spayed female. She likes kids, other dogs and has lived with cats. She is crate and house trained, good on a leash as long as you don't let her get away with pulling and knows some commands. Madeline loves to ride in the car and go out on a boat fishing. She is also good off leash and listens well.

Hip Hop has finished his heartworm treatment and is ready to go to his new home. He is a little guy, about 50 pounds, 2 years old, crate and house trained and a very good boy. He is very sweet, listens well and knows some obedience. He is good with other dogs and kids, good on a leash and listens well off leash.

Naudi is a 2 year old female. She is good with kids and other dogs and has never met a cat. Naudi is house and crate trained and listens well. She is a very sweet girl and will chase a ball around if you throw it. Naudi is a big girl, about 70 pounds.

Dakota is a 4 year old neutered male. He is house and crate trained, is well behaved and likes smaller dogs and non agressive larger dogs. He loves the outdoors, is pretty good off leash (unless there are squirrels out!) and needs lots of running space.

Cody is a 2 year old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and loves kids. He is crate and house trained and loves to ride in the car. Cody knows some commands and is working on his leash training.

Toby is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a little shy, but is getting better everyday! Toby is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids and has never met a cat. He listens well, is good on a leash and loves to snuggle or be in a lap. He is a smallish boy, about 60 pounds.

Riley is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate and housetrained, likes kids and other dogs and is pretty well behaved. He is ok on a leash and knows alot of commands. Riley had been living with smaller dogs and is a little rambunctious but he listens well.

Soco is a 14 month old neutered male. He is a big guy! He is crate and house trained and loves to play outside. Soco likes other dogs and kids and would like to chase cats. He knows some commands and is invisible fence trained.

Sage is a 6-7 year old spayed female. Her family is getting deployed and they can't take her. She is crate and house trained, loves kids and other dogs and is pretty good on a leash. She is ok with cats, but will chase them if they run.

King is a 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, knows some commands and is pretty good on a leash. He likes kids and other dogs and is supposedly ok with cats. King is a very affectionate boy.

Oscar is a 3 year old neutered male. He is crate and housetrained, likes kids, cats and other dogs. Oscar knows some commands and is pretty well behaved. He loves to play with the dot from a laser pointer! Oscar is also good on or off leash.

Bodie is a 6 month old blue boy. He will be neutered before placement. He is crate and housetrained, likes kids and other dogs anf has never been around cats. He knows some commands and listens well. Bodie is Dieter's brother and they would like to be placed together or with another dog.

Samson is a 2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained, likes kids and other dogs and lived with a cat for a short time. The cat wasn't thrilled, but he was ok with it. He walks well on a leash, is obedience trained and a very nice guy.

Dieter is a 6 month old male. He will be neutered before placement. He is crate and housetrained and likes kids and other dogs. No cats, he will chase them! Dieter is working on his obedience and knows several commands. He is Bodie's brother and would liked to be placed with him or another dog. Dieter is the more outgoing of the brothers.

Princess is a 14 month old spayed female. She is crate and house trained and needs obedience training. She is a small girl, 54 pounds and likes kids, cats and other dogs. UPDATE: Princess is currently in obedience training and is trying very hard to learn. She is pretty good on the leash now and is listening much better and learning that she isn't in charge!

Loki is a 15 month old neutered blue male. He is crate and house trained, is ok with cats but still chases them, good with kids and other dogs.

Tara is a 10 month old female. She will be spayed prior to placement. She is house and crate trained and has had minimal training. She likes kids and other dogs and has not been around any cats. Her family has gotten too busy to spend alot of time with her.

Daisy is a 7 month old spayed female. She is crate trained and pretty well housebroken. she loves kids and other dogs and with her disposition should be fine with cats. Daisy is working on her obedience and is a fast learner.

Smokey is a 8 yr old neutered male Weimaraner, that was an owner turn-in when his family found out they were going to have a baby. He loves kids, other dogs and is o.k. with cats. At his foster home he spends time with a two-year old boy and he is good at keeping an eye on him. Smokey is house and crate trained and walks well on a leash. He loves to swim and fetch. Inside he is a perfect gentleman.

Bailey (AKA Porky) is a 5 year old neutered male. Bailey is very fat but a sweet, well behaved guy. He is crate and house trained, likes other dogs, kids and cats, loves to play and wants to be a lap dog! Bailey is heartworm positive and is being treated. The vet gave Bailey a 4 star rating for being a really nice dog.

Smokey J is a 4 year old neutered male. Smokey loves being a running partner, is very good in the house and listens well. He is good off leash if no other dogs are around. Smokey would prefer to be an only dog, but he is fine with other dogs smaller than him and he doesn't seem to mind other weims.

Gracie is a 1 1/2 year old female. She will be spayed soon. Gracie is crate and house trained and likes kids and other dogs. No cats for Gracie! Gracie is a big boned girl, very sweet and loving. She know alot of commands and is pretty good on a leash.

Floyd is a 2 year old neutered male. He is crate and house trained and loves kids, dogs and cats. He knows some commands. His owners inherited him from a relative and have found he is more rambunctious than they are used to (they are lab people) and the labs aren't thrilled having him around. He would do well with another weim.

Zeke is a 10 month old neutered male. He likes other dogs and kids. He needs an owner who will be consistent with his training. He is crate and house trained and good on a leash.

Troy is a 9 month old male. He will be neutered soon. Troy is crate and house trained and likes kids, cats and other dogs. He is learning some commands is is doing well with them.

Lady Spencer (Lady) is a very well behaved spayed female who is 8 years old. She likes kids and other dogs and is fine with cats. Lady lost her home due to the death of her owner.

Spike is a nice 5 yr old neutered male. Spike is crate and house trained, listens very well, pretty good on a leash and likes other dogs. Spike would rather not be with cats and he prefers children who are taller than he is, over age 8. Spike is really a big, sweet lap dog.

Wyatt is a 1 year old neutered male. He needs some training and does not like the crate. He knows some commands and likes kids, cats and other dogs.

Molly is a 2 1/2 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, likes kids and other dogs, doesn't chase cats and knows some commands. Molly is well behaved but steals food off the table when you aren't looking. A true Weim!

Cecelia is a 3 year old spayed female. She is house and crate trained, likes other dogs, bigger kids and is ok with cats. Cecelia knows alot of commands and is pretty good off leash.

Bullet is a sweet 6-8 month old male. He was burned on his back and is recovering nicely, so he will be neutered soon. He knows some commands and likes other dogs and kids. He met a few cats at the vet and was fine with them. He is crate and house trained. Bullet has a natural tail.

Tasha is a 3 year old female. She is overweight, but healthy. She is house and crate trained, likes kids and other dogs. She is pretty well behaved.

Gracie is a 20 month old blue female. She likes kids and other dogs and has not met any cats. Gracie knows how to do a few things, but needs to learn some more manners. She is crate and house trained.

Buddy is a cute, neutered 6 month old male. He is learning some manners and is pretty good in the crate. He LOVES being with the other dogs and has the fastest wagging tail I have ever seen!

Stormy is a nice 4 year old spayed female. She likes kids, cats and other dogs. She is very sweet and is currently on a diet to get off some of her "couch potato" pounds!

Slick is a nice 4 year old blue girl. She has been fine with other dogs and cats at the shelter and was living in a home with kids when they decided to move and not take her along.

Starbucks is an extremely sweet, warm and playful 3 year old neutered male. He is comfortable around new people and animals and previously lived with a cat. Starbucks quickly adjusts to new environments and rules. He is good on a leash and stays close when off leash. He is crate trained and likes kids.

Casper is a 4 year old male. He is crate and housetrained, likes all ages of kids and dogs and knows basic obedience. His family moved and couldn't take him. He is good off lead

Sadie is an 11 month old spayed female. She likes kids but hasn't learned not to jump on them yet. Sadie is house trained and likes other dogs. She needs to learn some more manners. Sadie needs someone to be consistent with her training.

Sherry is an 8 month old blue female. We think her dad was the neighbor's lab! Sherry is very social, likes kids and other dogs and loves to play in the yard. She knows a few commands and listens pretty well for a puppy.

Daisy is an an 18 month old spayed female. She is crate and house trained but is a little noisy in the crate if you are home. She likes kids and gets along well with other dogs. She has previously lived with cats. Daisy knows a few commands but could use some leash work.

Prince is a 1-2 year old (Probably closer to 1) neutered male. He is crate trained and good in the house. He is very social with other dogs and kids. He knows a few commands and could use some leash work. Prince came from a WV kill shelter where he was saved at the last minute by rescue. He is quite appreciative of this and is very affectionate.

Cabo is a 3 year old spayed female. She is crate and housetrained. She likes kids and other dogs, but she would like to be an only dog. Cabo is good on the leash and knows basic obedience. Cabo is possesive of her toys so she should probably be with older kids.

Ernie is a nice 4-5 year old male. He is neutered, housetrained, well behaved and pretty quiet. He likes other dogs and kids and hasn't met any cats yet. He loves to lie around outside in the sun and roll in the grass!

Hoover is a sweet, neutered 11 month old boy. He likes kids and other dogs and seems to be ok with cats. Hoover needs someone to be his Alpha person and be consistent with the rules. He knows basic obedience and needs his people to take him to class to make sure he knows he is not in charge! Hoover is crate and house trained and can be a strong-willed boy.

Mannie is a 5 year old male retired showdog. He is neutered, house and crate trained and likes other dogs and kids. Mannie was also training to be a hunting dog, which he really enjoys. Now he would like to learn to be a couch potato!

Jake is a 1-2 year old male. He will be neutered before placement. He likes other dogs and kids and seems to be housetrained. He is a very fast learner.

Winnie is a 2 year old spayed female. She is crate and house trained and likes other dogs and kids.

Dublin is a 4 year old soon to be neutered male. He is a friendly, healthy and well behaved boy who loves people. He is very sweet and has a laid back disposition. Dublin is crate and house trained and knows basic obedience. He is very good off lead and has been enjoying off lead jogging and nature walks with his foster family. Dublin is very good with other dogs and adjusted to his foster home immediately. Dublin could walk into your house today and instantly become part of your family. He seems to be an ideal house pet!

Jackson is a nice neutered blue boy. He is 5 years old, house and crate trained and is very good with obedience. His owner had to move into an apartment and Jackson is very unhappy. Jackson likes other dogs and would do best with older kids.

Baloo is a 5 year old neutered male. He is pretty well behaved but could use an obedience refresher, especially for jumping up. He is house and crate trained and likes other dogs and kids. His family just had a baby so he is spending too much time in his crate.

Pluto is a 21 month old neutered male. He got arrested twice for being out when he wasn't supposed to be (it really wasn't his fault, who knew a fence would keep the dogs around when you let them out!!) and his owners decided not to bail him and his pal out anymore. Pluto is house and crate trained, likes other dogs and kids and loves to ride in the car. He is also a very good ball fetcher! He also knows some obedience.

Levi is a 2 1/2 year old neutered blue male. He was removed from his home by Animal Control for neglect. A wonderful volunteer at the shelter worked with him everyday for two months and he is a great dog! Levi knows several obedience commands, is crate and house trained, good off leash and loves to play and have his tummy rubbed. He likes other dogs and kids and of course, attention!

Ian is a 3 year old neutered male. He likes other dogs and kids. Ian is a fetching fanatic and will drive you crazy throwing a ball! He is crate and house trained and he loves to swim. Ian is well behaved and knows many commands and is good off leash.

Miles is a 4 yr old neutered male. He likes other dogs and kids and is well behaved. His family didn't have time for him.

Cody is a 4 year old neutered male. He is a big boy, but loves other dogs and kids. He has never met a cat. Cody is crate and house trained and good on a leash. He loves to ride in the car and play in the yard with a Frisbee and sticks. He is pretty quiet and loves to follow you around everywhere!

Gia is a 6 month old spayed female. She is pretty good on her house training, is crate trained and will sit for a treat. Like any puppy, she will need obedience training. She is a little people dependent so Gia will do best with another dog so she can learn some independence!

Molly is a very nice, active 9 year old female. She will be spayed soon. She is house and crate trained and good on a leash. She likes most other dogs, kids and cats. Molly knows some commands and is a very sweet girl. She was given up because she chased and killed some chickens on the farm she lived on. Well, she is a bird dog!

Graydon is a 1 yr old neutered male. He likes other dogs and kids and iscrate trained. He knows some obedience but still jumps up. Graydon is a big boy and is pretty well behaved.

Logger is Sazar's brother and he is 1 1/2

Josie is 3 years old and is with one of her female puppies, who is about 4-5 months old. The puppy has a natural tail.

Sky is a 1 1/2 year old female. She is eating well now and was very excited to jump all over me!

These poor puppies were tossed over a fence at a kill shelter in Virginia with a Vizsla puppy. They are happy, bouncy pups. They were evaluated by the vet and are healthy, just really thin. He thinks they are about 6 months old.

These 2 female puppies rescued from WV have gone to the MD Corrections Dept to be obedience trained by prisoners and then to be trained as drug dogs.

Cody is just over 1 year old. He is neutered, house and crate trained and knows basic obedience. He likes other dogs. Cody is strong willed so he will need someone who has time to spend on consistant training.

Baron is an 18 month old male. He is house and crate trained and likes other dogs and kids. he loves to play and has good obedience skills. His dad is travelling frequently and is unable to spend much time with him. Baron will be neutered before placement.

King is a 17 month old neutered male. He likes other dogs (just not small dogs) and is ok with cats. He LOVES kids. King is crate trained, good on a leash and has basic obedience training.

Baxter is a 2 year old blue boy. He is neutered, likes kids and other dogs. He listens well in the house, but will need an 8' fence. He is good on a leash and is a great running companion!

Skyler is a 1 1/2 year old spayed female. She loves kids and other dogs but she is a big girl so she will be better with bigger kids and bigger dogs. She loves activities involving running and is crate and house trained.

Rocky is a very sweet 9 year old neutered male with a sad story to tell. He is overweight and lumpy, but very well behaved. He loves to go outside and will even chase a ball! Jordan is a 2 1/2 year old neutered male. He was put in the shelter because the kids weren't helping with the dog and he was spending 12-14 hours a day in the crate. Mercury is a smallish,1 year old male. He doesn't seem to know much, including his name, but he is learning and he is very sweet and calm. He follows me around without a leash. Mercury came from a shelter in WV where he was turned in by someone who didn't want him. Mercury has been adopted!

Chester is a 6 yr old neutered male. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is great in the house and loves to play tug of war. He would like to sleep on your bed if he could! Chester has been adopted!!

Savannah likes to be called Sam. She is a 6 yr old spayed blue girl. She LOVES kids, cats and other dogs. She is crate trained but is so well behaved that she is never in the crate. Sam will actually watch TV when there are animals on! Savannah has been adopted!!

Mork is a 3-4 yr old male. He is very friendly, crate and house trained, listens well and likes other dogs and kids. He was found with Mindy in the Richmond area. Since there are no cats over here, I don't know if he likes them or not! He is a sweet boy who would like to sit with his head in your lap! Mork has been adopted!!

Mindy is a 3-4 yr old female. She was with Mork. Mindy is a little overweight but loves to play with other dogs and run around. She is house and crate trained and listens well. She likes kids and other dogs. She would love to be in a home with another dog. Mindy has been adopted!!

Lilo and Stitch are littermates. They are 1 1/2 years old and have lived outside most of the time. They love kids and other dogs and will need some basic obedience training and a housebreaking refresher course. Since they are so friendly, this should be an easy task. No pictures yet.
